Nature lover's paradise sleeps 6. Relax in this private yet convenient, fully equipped 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath country escape. Just minutes from historic Milford, PA and steps to 70,000 federal acres of nature at its best. Enjoy hiking, skiing, Delaware river trips, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, and more only 11/2 hours from NYC. The stone patio overlooking the ponds and waterfall is an ideal spot to grill up a fresh caught catfish from the stocked pond. The perfect getaway. Every window in this country classic, features a beautiful nature view. The living room has a cozy fireplace, wood floors and a modern entertainment center. The kitchen has a commercial stove with griddle for the gourmet in the group. Just bring the wine. We are a child friendly place and will consider your well behaved dog.

The house is perfect for a quiet get away. It's so peaceful. The beds are cozy and you sleep so soundly. We had a great relaxing time.

Thanks to Jamie for his hospitality in permitting us to stay at this beautiful property. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed for a five-night stay: towels, sheets, cleaning supplies and pantry staples. A big plus was the excellent stereo sound-system. The location is perfect, adjacent to the sites of the Delaware Water Gap, hiking, birding and the excellent Bar Louis in Milford. We’d love to return another time when we need to grab some additional R&R, if they’d like to have us back!

Love this place. So peaceful and cozy. The host is super responsive but also leaves you alone. You feel like you’re miles away from civilization but yet historic Milford is only about 10 min drive.
