Nice deck patio on Main Street of Vernazza. Cute place that has potential.

The property did not have air conditioning which we knew at booking BUT because of this we assumed there would be working fans in each room for some type of air flow. The property provided 3 tiny old fans but only one worked well as others did NOT work at all or were filthy dirty. Fans are so inexpensive that if other reviewers also have complained why are you not fixing the issues? Many of the windows are unable to open for any type of breeze so the property was stifling hot and uncomfortable. If the property does not have air conditioning then why not provide something so inexpensive for your guests? We also knew we would have to deal with some train noise but we had NO idea how loud the trains would be and at all hours of the nights until early morning. I think I counted 22 trains from 10pm until 6am so definitely no noise curfews. We didn't sleep for more than an hour each night and we left a day early because we felt at $600 a night it would be more comfortable and have more of a breeze or airflow. We couldn't breathe! They provided us with a sleeping cot for my daughter but it was in 3 pieces that didn't attach together so all night long she was falling through it. Lacking kitchen supplies and the washing machine was already filled with wet clothes and linens when we arrived so we could not use until the maids removed the next day. Kitchen supplies were lacking and had to wash our own dishes or be charged:( There is a garden we found (if you are able to open the back door) but it is unusable because it is unkept and overgrown.

The central location was wonderful and the view from the balcony was great.

Spacious 2 bedroom, 1 large bathroom apartment with a balcony overlooking the lively main street. Also has a cute terrace to enjoy a glass of wine. Convenient location right on the main street just a short walk to the harbor. Easy communication with property management. You should know there are 3 flights of very steep, narrow stairs so pack light.

It's very convenient to the train station, but that means you can hear the train. If you are a light sleeper, you will be up at 5am when the train starts. Also, because of train noise or street noise, you must keep the windows closed, so, since there is no A/C, you get a bit hot. There are fans but wasn't enough to keep us 100% comfortable.
