The Creek House is a retro-rustic getaway with luxury lodge touches and plush amenities (including free wifi and Roku TV) – all in an ultra-private creekside setting. This peaceful, fully equipped house features design with a mountain cabin feel that takes you back to a simpler time. Plus, you’re close to all the MANY attractions the area has to offer. In fall and winter, enjoy the sounds of a warm, crackling fire and the creek rushing outside your window, and toast friends and family in style, comfort and serenity. In spring and summer, fish from your wooden bridge, have dinner on the back rock patio and sit in the cedar hot tub. It's creekside and under the stars!
We are now trying to keep the CEDAR HOT TUB operational ALL-YEAR ROUND -- although we can never 100% guarantee it's use! It's new but can be very temperamental - especially in the winter.

Superb location! Cozy cabin by a beautiful creek - amazingly peaceful. We are all our meals outside at the two different outdoor tables with the delightful sound of the creek as a backdrop. Saw Mallards, a Merganser Duck, Kingfishers, and even a River Otter. Enjoyed walking the little missy trail along the creek. A wonderful place - would definitely return!

It was our first time at Big Al's, and before we even left, I had already made a reservation for next year! This place is absolutely perfect for unplugging and unwinding. We stayed four days and had the best time fishing, relaxing in the hot tub, and cozying up by the fireplace. From the moment we walked in, soft music was playing, setting a peaceful mood.The creek by the cabin isn’t stocked, yet we caught eight wild brown trout right outside the cabin. A short walk along a beautiful mossy trail leads you to a pond where we caught several perch, bluegill, and bass. The natural surroundings and peaceful vibe make this a perfect getaway for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy some quality downtime.

Overall we had a really good stay. The location is absolutely fabulous. Very peaceful. We loved the hiking trails, the pond, and the stream. Communication with the host was not great. He was traveling in Europe which is cool but his backup was not responsive. We had a minor issue and it took multiple text message, phone calls and voice mails to get a response. Cleaning needs some improvement. The refrigerator was really bad. We had to scrub it out ourselves before we felt OK putting our food in it. The pots and pans really need to be replaced. The non stick coatings on all of them is peeling off.
