Very nostalgic and comfortable feel; very similar to the home I grew up in. A high-end home for the period built so I could appreciate the original baths and mostly original kitchen.

The swimming pool deck was in very bad shape we could not let the kids play on it. The screened in pouch had lot of holes in it.

This property will take you back to 1950/60’s. It’s worn but well kept. It’s clean and comfortable . Yes it could use a few repairs(pool decking) but those repairs won’t affect your stay. We were in Round Rock for a Round Rock Express game at Dell Diamond. Great location for a quick drive to the stadium. The pool is amazingly cool and refreshing. The beds are comfortable and the AC did a good job.
Great location, nice property and comfortable.

Thank you everything was great and excellent I appreciate it

This property is perfect for a larger family with multiple pets! We had 2 large dogs plus a small one. A lot of places limit weight size of the dog so it was nice to find a place that didn’t. Others have complained on their review about bugs but we only saw a couple, and that’s to be expected in an area with trees and vegetation. Beds are comfy and kitchen is well stocked. It’s a bit warm in the middle of summer as it is hot outside! The AC is good, but just can’t quite keep up! Overall, good place that met expectations! Lyn was easy to work with and responds quickly!

The property was the perfect space for my family. We had family stay with us of all ages and the place accommodated everyone. Highlight for the family was the pool. The owner had the place nice and clean. Obviously due to the weather the house did warm up during the hottest peak of the day. But other than that our experience was great! Thanks Lyn!

Will say overall it’s not a terrible place. Needs a good cleaning and a bit of updating/fixing up of things. Pool was clean and wonderful to swim in. Hot tub was drained but owner let us fill it and use it. There is no pool table, but there is now an air hockey table. Pretty good size house. It served its purpose for us, as we were gone most of the day while we stayed there. Don’t use the wifi password given through check in messages, use the one listed by owner located on the refrigerator. Grill is about half usable, kitchen was pretty stocked except no toaster. Owner did respond when we had questions about a couple things. Overall gave a lower rating due to cleanliness and appearance.

I was on the phone for several hours with customer service. The host of the home did say they were going to reimburse my money, but I have yet to hear from VRBO that my moneys being reimbursed.

Needed a place to stay that would allow pets and gatherings. The place is perfect for fun and relaxation. Always quick response to all my questions and concerns! Would stay again!

1. Dust and someone else’s hair “tumbleweeds” rolling across the house at check in. Floors visibly dirty and someone else’s hair in the en-suite shower
2. Water leaks/stains on ceiling, with two parts partially collapsing
3. Hot tub empty and dirty. Above ground pool was crystal clean! (The only clean thing on the property)
4. Daily cockroachs both dead and alive in the house.
5. Mismatched greasy stained furniture throughout the house.
6. Kitchen cabinets, wooden paneled walls and even the hardwood bedroom floors more coming up, pieces missing and visibly worn

I realized that this was an older home but it should be clean. There were dead bugs all of over the place. Mouse droppings on the fireplace mantel. Dead bugs and dirt on the window seals. Trash and spider webs on the floor under the cabinets in the kitchen. Bathroom floors were dirty. The Wi-Fi password did not work. So no Wi-Fi as advertised. It was also advertised to have a pool which is why we chose this house but there was two foot of green water filled with growing moss like a swamp in the pool. The wood around the pool was rotten and falling apart. It is also listed as a 4 bedroom but the 4th bedroom is a den with a bed in it. The door to close off the den was leaning against the door jam broken. I did speak to the manager of the property and was told that they were going through a divorce and not sure who was getting the house, why things had not been repaired, not wanting to invest money not knowing what was happening to the house. I am so sorry about that but they should take the house off as a rental until this can be figured out. Very disappointed. Wish I could include picture. I have several.

House could have been cleaner- there are repairs that need to be made- a lot of water damage on ceilings and walls- the air hockey table collapsed when my daughter & 10 year old grandson were playing- he could have been hurt but thankfully wasn’t- my son & son in law fixed the legs on the table. The deck around the pool had places that are not very safe/ the railing around the pool was loose and could have been very dangerous. The cover to the hot tub was disgusting looking. The sliding door in the den was hanging so my son in law moved it so it wouldn’t fall on any of the children. The washing machine sounded like it was going to explode when going through the spin cycle- so loud we could not talk to one another in another room! Our grandchildren loved the pool & the hot tub! If someone took the time to a little maintenance the house has the potential to be quite nice! We would not stay there again.

We stayed here for a weekend trip as we were in town for a concert in Georgetown.
I gave it two stars because it was somewhere we could lay our head and was a good location.
The downside:
The pictures are not up to date.
There is no pool table - it is a hockey table (fair enough)
I let the host know we could not connect to wifi upon arrival. That was never rectified for our three night stay.
It was the state of the property and the cleanliness that was our main issue. There is water damage in almost every room. Visible and unrepaired on ceilings and walls. The floors and shelves were very dirty. Our feet were black after walking in the house for 10 min. There was someone’s hair in the shower drain upon taking our first shower. We found large dead cockroaches in two separate rooms.
The outdoor area would not be safe in my opinion for a family. The hot tub area has holes all over the screened in area where a small child could fall out. The hot tub cover is barely in one piece and left Styrofoam and other materials in the hot tub. Hard to keep hot with the current cover. The pool area has peeling paint on the walkway and deck area. We did not use as the pool was not full yet for summer. (Although we were hoping so since it was 90 degrees outside).
I’ve never left a bad review for a property after staying at VRBOs for years. I would not recommend unless major upgrades and changes to cleaning were done to the property

House was in good location and had plenty of room for family. House does need updating and carpet and floors were a bit dirty.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. There were so many great amenities, from the kitchen being fully stocked with dishes and seasonings. Both bathrooms were stocked with towels and the young people really enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. Lyn and her mother were so nice upon meeting them and Lyn was very helpful with I needed the air adjusted.

Good for a large family in the summer (pool and yard). Unfortunatly half of my family, 5 people didn't come so the space was a waste. Location is great. The house itself needs major repairs and upgrades. Wouldn't rent it again because of age and disrepair

We booked and stayed at this lovely older sprawling comfortable home for two days. It was like staying at your favorite aunts house. We were relaxed and enjoyed our stay. This home is wonderfully located north of Austin and was perfect for our ladies get together. The property manager Lyn was attentive and responsive. Thanks for a fun relaxed stay.

The house is very cozy and had a lot of really great amenities such as a pool, hot tub, Pool table and dart board, however the home could really use some attention. There are holes in the screen of the screened in porch, some of the outside porch furniture was broken, the walkway to the pool and the deck are weathered, and there were cob webbs in the blinds. Overall our stay was nice and the home met our for our needs for the weekend.

Excellent place to stay with family.
Owner of property was very good with making sure everything was right. The location of the property was near everything. Good spacious property for a family vacation. Highly recommend.

House needs repairs and updating.
This property was in dire need of repairs. There are inside doors and cabinet doors that do not shut. No ice maker in refrigerator. No bath soap of any kind. No detergent for washing machine. Small amount of coffee. The Roku TV was very difficult to use, could not get local news and weather. The screened in porch had several tears in the screen, the hot tub had only 4 of 13 jets working. The walkway to the pool had broken and missing boards (very unsafe). The entire deck around the pool was unsafe. There is a dog run line, but not fenced in for pets.

This is a great place to stay with plenty of things to do and see. Close to Austin, Hutto and Taylor in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked as well as plenty of towels in bathroom and for the pool and hot tub. The game room was a major highlight along with TVs in every room. Best of all was the huge yard in the back that our dogs loved. Great place for a family reunion.

It was a great location. It’s practically 10 mins away from everything. The only problem was the owner messaged me about an hour before arrival saying the pool was green. That was the main reason for me booking this house. So I was disappointed when we couldn’t use the pool.

Our family of 8 adults and 4 young children enjoyed our stay in this house immensely. The pool is perfect for young children to swim happily (entire pool is only about 3 feet deep) but also allows adults to cool off and float. The pool being fenced is also very reassuring with small children around. The yard has wonderful shade almost all day, and there's a swing set and slide that were a big hit. We all had plenty of room to hang out, work on meals together, and work on decorations for the wedding we were there to attend. There was a whole closet full of baby/toddler paraphernalia - stroller, crib, pack & play, highchairs, rocking horse and various toys. We also enjoyed the pool table and foosball. One of my pet peeves about large vacation homes is that so often they don't have enough seating for everyone to eat together, but this house had plenty of seated dining for our whole crowd. There was a large shelf full of swim towels, as well as plenty of towels in the baths. We like to sleep cold in the summer, and with ceiling fans in every room, it was very pleasant.
The kitchen could use some restocking of necessary dishes and cutlery, but we managed fine, having brought some cheap disposable serving bowls and plenty of plastic forks and knives. with us. There were plenty of kitchen trash bags, which is very unusual. The window a/c in the game room could use an upgrade to a bigger unit, but that room is easy to cut off from the rest of the house if it's not cool enough for you. We found the room to be fairly cool even with temperatures in the 90s outside.
We hosted a lovely rehearsal dinner for about 35 people in the backyard under the trees. This is one of the very few properties we could find that allowed us to host an event. There was plenty of parking, which helped a lot.
If you're looking for fancy, this house isn't it. Think of it like you would a weekend cabin you visit a few times a year - where cobwebs gather, you never get around to deep cleaning under cabinets, the furniture is well worn and comfy, and there's always a few handprints on the doors and door jams. It's casual, comfortable, with a very appealing 1960's feel, and no worries about spills or having to be careful with things. If you are the fastidious type, you should probably stay somewhere else and be ready to pay much more. For our large country family with young children, it was just about perfect.

The home is in a great location and was great for my large film to spead out. HOW Ever the home need some TLC and someone needs to deep clean the home the lamp shades where gross and in the game room the window seals need to be cleaned. Plus we could not control the air conditioning. It so hot in the house it was hard to get comfortable at night to sleep.

We are native Texans living in Illinois and needed a proper venue to stay and have a family gathering to celebrate our son's graduation with family. This property was perfect! Lyn worked extra hard to accommodate us and to get the pool ready for the weekend. The kids loved it and there was plenty of pool floats and miscellaneous games to keep everyone entertained. The yard is large and plenty of shade to relax outside. Only my wife and son and I slept at the house, but the house would easily accommodate six or eight others!
We would definitely consider booking this house for future trips back home.

Perfect for families or friends with kids. Lots of space. Wish the pool was open, it was green and closed. The master bathroom toilet didn't work clogged up. We just chose not to use instead of calling property manager out since it was a 2 day stay. (Did mention it to them maybe there was a trick to getting out to flush) overall great location and property

Lots of “non working” things
Whole place could use a lot of tlc.
Beds were terrible
Holes in the ceiling and walls,
Things were advertised as a fun family hang out but most things were run down broken or just plain misleading.

This old home reminded me of the house I grew up in 25 years ago.. and it’s frozen in that time period. It was perfect for all my kids. I wasn’t stressed out about them breaking anything. There were lots of toys and entertainment and a fully stocked kitchen which made Thanksgiving a breeze! We did have to go buy some items like hand soap, laundry soap, trash bags and we borrowed some comforters from my sister because we were cold the first night. We are a big family and it was perfect for us. The property is beautiful. I would stay here again but know that it’s a relaxed environment of a house. Also, there were zero snacks provided.
