About this house rental
Well appointed villa/guest house offering both garden and sea views, Sweet Sunshine Villa is just a 5-minute drive from Burwood Beach. It is a 1 minute drive and 10 minute walk from the lovely Duncan’s Bay Beach. It has well-appointed furnishings in bright rooms, a shared kitchen and free Wi-Fi. Close to Montego Bay and Ochas Rios - 30 minute drive.
Sweet Sunshine Villa offers air-conditioning in every bedroom, a well an equipped shared kitchen and shared living room with cable TV. If you opt to share our home with other traveller's, there are many private lounge areas throughout the villa: the front linea, the well-appointed living room on the main entry floor, and the living room upstairs by the mother-daughter double bedroom suite which also have a shared balcony that overlooks the pool and the sea in the distance
The family room leads to the pool which offers plenty of lounge chairs and seating to enjoy outdoor life. There is a BBQ grill on deck for outdoor cooking.
The mother/daughter bedroom suite is located up one flight of stairs. It enjoys a private living room with a ceiling fan. Each bedroom is equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan and a private balcony sea views in the distant. The upstairs bedrooms share a full bath and a private living area .
The full sized bed is located on the main entry floor and it is off in its own private location of the house. This bedroom has it’s own private bathroom. It has a air-conditioning, ceiling fan and a view of the garden and patio.
This villa can be rented as a private house or it can be rented as a Guest House with furnished rooms with private baths and a shared kitchen. Please specify at the type of rental you are seeking at the time of inquiry. Our villa can come equipped with a housekeeper for daily housekeeping services and meal preparation if you choose and make the request.

Montego Bay International Airport and Dunn’s River Falls are within a 30-minute drive of the property. The lively center of Montego Bay is 35 minutes away.

We had a lovely stay at Opal & Clara's villa in Jamaica. The pictures do not do the place justice. Sweet Sunshine Villa looks even better in person. The house is very impressive and beautifully decorated with very comfortable furnishings. We rented the place for our entire family and the villa is so spacious that we were very comfortable. This was our first time using HomeAway. Opal was so easy to communicate with and she took her time to help walk us through the process. When we arrived we were met by her caretaker, Roy who took AMAZING care of us. He helped to make sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The villa did not come with a cook and staff and we appreciated saving money by not having to pay for those services since we didn't really need it for most of our stay. On our final day, with Opal's help, we hired someone to come in and work for the day. She made us delicious Jamaican food and was very attentive to our needs. Thank you Opal & Clara for opening up your beautiful home.

Hallo liebe zukünftigen Urlauber,
wir, ein junges Paar 29 & 27 aus München waren zwei Wochen im November 2018 hier zu Gast.
Schon vor der Ankunft wurden wir von der Eigentümerin Frau Opal kontaktiert und mit ausreichend Informationen umsorgt.
Sie hat für uns einen Transfer vom Airport zur Villa organisiert und war stets über WhatsApp von Anfang an für uns da.
Am Airport angekommen begrüßte uns dann unser Fahrer Roy. Roy ist ein sehr ehrlicher und bekannter Mann in der Gegend. Wir fühlten uns mehr als gut aufgehoben und sicher dank ihm.
Perfekt Organisiert! Danke Opal.
In der Villa angekommen waren wir erstmals sehr beeindruckt.Das Haus ist komplett umzaunt und sogar mit Kameras rund um das Anwesen bestückt. Zudem wohnt Roy auch in der Nähe. Sicher fühlt ihr euch auf jeden Fall!
Zum Haus:
Es gibt 3 grosse Schlafzimmer mit sehr bequemen Matratzen, 2 Badezimmer, 1 Wohnzimmer mit offener Ess Küche, einen Speisesaal und einen grossen Aussenbereich mit Pool und MeerBlick.
Die Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert und das Trinkwasser (Leitungswasser) hat deutsche Qualität.
Das ganze Anwesen ist idyllisch bepflanzt mit exotischen Früchten im Garten.
Internet und Strom funktionieren, ausser bei Gewitter.
Der fussweg zum Meer beträgt circa 10 Minuten.
Der Strand ist unbeschreiblich schön und einsam!
Wir empfehlen eucg die Villa zu buchen.
Ein Glücksgriff mit fürsorglicher Betreuung steht euch bevor.
