The name Ocho Rios is Spanish for “eight rivers,” but there are only four in the area. The former fishing village is now a resort and cruise ship port town. The town is best known for it’s all-inclusive resorts and tourist attractions. There are many outdoor adventure-themed attractions such as waterfall hikes, adventure and water parks, swimming with dolphins, and jungle swimming holes. Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote his last book here in 1967.
