This premium north tower 1, 8th floor beach front private corner luxurious condominium is an excellent location. Unobstructed ocean views from the large wrap around lanai makes Whale watching and sunsets unforgettable. This gorgeous contemporary professionally designed condo has a deluxe fully equipped European kitchen with high end appliances. Every room is fully stocked and has ocean views. Floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows and sliding doors through out, have lanai access as well. One King size bed in both the guest and master bedrooms. A guest bed is available for the 5th guest if required. Built in desks and sitting areas in large bedrooms. 5 TV's with cable, Roku's DVD, fax/printer included with complementary WiFi. Ceiling fans for your comfort. The master bath has 2 sinks, seperate vanity area and a free standing tub. The. bath walls are marble, granite countertops and accents through out the space. An extra large shower with a ceiling rain fixture for comfort and pleasure. A washer and dryer are provided. Throughout, are works of art by Hawaiian artists, and the hallway has a gallery experience. The wrap around lanai is fully furnished with breathtaking views. Whether you desire to lounge or dine outside the lanai offers many many options. Amazing views of Kaanapali Beach: the ocean of Molokai Channel, waves, the neighboring islands of Molokai and Lanai, and amazing sand of Kaanapali Beach or famous 'Black Rock' and whales are all seen from your own private lanai. There is a storage cabinet on the lanai full of beach activity items: boogie boards, sand chairs, umbrella, snorkels and masks, kids toys, etc. The Whaler provides it's guests beach towels and beach chairs across from the swimming pool. The towels are checked out and returned for fresh towels anytime at the kiosk. The Whaler itself has many amenities: swimming pool, spa, gym / fitness center, business kiosk, tennis courts and lovely gardens. The center garden has lovely tropical landscaping and a koi pond. We absolutely loved staying at Janell’s condo! Description is accurate, and everything is updated and stocked with everything you could need! The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms & kitchen were stocked with lots of items so you really need to bring/ buy very little. The location is amazing! We loved the lanai and how much seating there is. We even saw whales from the balcony one day!!! Janell is a wonderful host, even taking the time to call us herself to make sure all was well and available to answer any questions. We would love to stay here again~Just perfect!

We’ve been staying in this unit for the last 7 or 8 years and every year it gets better and better (and harder to leave!). JaNell is the best host, so informative and accommodating. The unit has everything you could possibly need and is so very comfortable. The location is perfect for lounging at the beach, snorkeling or hitting up a local restaurant and the unit is perfect if you just want to sit on the lanai and enjoy the views. We love it and are so grateful to be able to use it.

This was the most amazing rental experience we've ever had. You check in with the Front Desk and the bellman will take you to your room. Parking is easy and convenient.
The room itself is AMAZING! It's super luxurious, fantastically appointed and has everything you need (including beach chairs & snorkel gear, even a wagon to carry them in). The balcony is huge, wrapping around 2 sides of the condo and offering epic views in every direction. We spent most of our time out there.
Bedrooms are large, beds comfortable, great kitchen and large living room. Even though you are on the 8th floor, you can hear the waves crashing as you sleep. Just wonderful.
The location is also fantastic. You are close to Black Rock where you can swim with sea turtles and jump off the cliffs. There's tons of shopping at the Whalers Village, and lots of great restaurants (book reservations early), all within an easy walking distance to the resort.
Janelle, our host, was kind and attentive. When we asked for check-out instructions, she told us there weren't any. "You're on vacation, enjoy it."

This was perfect for our family vacation. We have stayed at the Whaler many times over the years but this is by far one of our favorite units now. Huge wrap around lanai so you never miss a sunset and great spot to enjoy your meals. Stocked with everything you need and more! Janell was easily reachable for any needs we had. Highly recommend this unit!

Top notch Ka’anapali
Incredible view, best on the property with the beach below and Black Rock to the right, where you see the action on the beach without actually being in the sand. Instead on comfortable chairs in the shade or in the sun in the privacy of an expansive lanai. The other resorts and the other Whalers Village building does not have such a view. The condo is roomy, bright, clean with very comfortable furnishings. The couch is large and plenty of seating to watch the large screened TV. Could easily accommodate at least 5 grown people. The property is well maintained and clean, quiet. We could not hear the other units or anyone in the hallway. The kitchen has plenty of everything. There is a binder in a drawer in the master bedroom with details of the unit.
JaNell as a host is wonderful. She is accommodating, reached out to us after booking, checked in during our stay, and has someone clean the unit mid stay. This unit is gorgeous. So many touches and extras, and obvious that this is their home away from home. Thank you, JaNell, for sharing it!

Views! Views! Views!
This condo is absolutely beautiful! The pictures are completely accurate but still don't do the unit justice! The views from the very large lanai are to die for. You can see Black Rock & both Molokai and Lanai. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and had to tear ourselves away to see all the sights of Maui. We stayed here with two of our adult children and we were very comfortable. There was more than enough room for everyone. Janell was so wonderful to work with, she checked in with us a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was ok. We can't wait to come back and stay again at this wonderful condo!!

Spur of the Moment Maui
JaNelle's property was absolutely fabulous. Frequently, places like this try to over-sell themselves with their online descriptions and photos. This place was actually the opposite. Neither the photos nor the written description was able to do justice to JaNelle's Maui condo. It was truly beachfront in every respect. It was very spacious and so well-appointed that you'd thought that you went to every store to stock it yourself. It was truly amazing.

Never ever ever disappoints!
We’ve stayed at The Whaler for the last 7 years and in this unit specifically, the last 5 of the 7 and it never disappoints. When we pull into the property it feels like we’re home. We look forward to our time at the Whaler and in Janelle’s unit all year long. You want for nothing in this condo. It is stocked with every kitchen appliance and utensil you could need and unit has everything from a washer and dryer to accessories to keep you busy at the beach. Janelle is a pleasure to rent from and is so lovely and accommodating. We appreciate all the love and care that they put into this condo. Can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommend. Besides the amazing views and outdoor space, the place comes equipped with all the beach gear you need. The kitchen was fully stocked, the master bed was so comfortable and the linens were luxurious. Shopping and convenience store and restaurants near by.

Delightful!
We have stayed at several units at Whalers Village over the years and this is by far and away the nicest. Completely upgraded appliances & amenities, with an astonishing amount of first rate cookware and utensils that make staying in for a nice dinner effortless. Jenell was a joy to deal with, easy and accomodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Best view and unit in the Whaler
Wow, what a fabulous 2BR unit. We have stayed at other units at the Whaler and this by far is the best. It has a fabulous view, wraparound lanai, and the furnishings are of very high quality. Definitely a luxury vacation. And JaNell was very responsive with all of our questions. We brought our two children (ages 11 and 8), my mom, so five total - and very comfortable for everyone. This unit was more on the spendy side, but well worth the extra dollars. We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway!

Perfect- as usual!

Absolutely Beautiful!
We have been to the Whaler many times prior to our stay in room 802 and we were not disappointed. The room was very well appointed and was just as nice as it appears online. The owner (JaNell) was very easy to work with and was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She called us within the first day or two just to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. The views from the lanai are spectacular and as good as any view on the island. I would definitely recommend Room 802 to anyone going to Maui! Thank you Janell and Simon for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Fantastic week!
Fantastic! Great location. Weather was perfect for us. The condo is probably the most well equipped VRBO we have stayed at. We were there at the height of whale watching and we saw a lot from the balcony. We even saw a dolphin and a few turtles. We went sea kayaking and a whale surfaced maybe 20 feet from us. How cool!

This condo is amazing. The view was simply spectacular.
The week my parents and I spent at this condo was simply perfect. We spent endless hours whale watching from the balcony. The condo was clean, the beds comfortable, and our communication with JaNell was great. We were very pleased. Our only wish was that we had booked a few additional days!

Paradise in paradise!
This is our second year in a row staying in Suite 802. It’s the 4th unit we’ve stayed in at the Whaler and is our favorite by far. The views are spectacular- whale and turtle spotting right from the balcony! The unit itself is stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. We look forward to our visit all year long and can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Oceanfront condo
The Whaler is a wonderful complex to stay in, oceanfront and in the middle of all the resorts. The condo we stayed in was the best so far and we have been coming here for 17 years. Immaculate, comfortable, fully stocked, oceanfront, would definitely rent this unit again.

Better than any you could wish for!
Beautifully decorated, over the top accommodations, extremely abundant with any and everything you ever need or want on vacation. Boogie boards, floaties, umbrellas , beach chairs...kitchen stocked with everything imaginable, beds super comfortable, bathrooms so elegant, comfy stylish furniture including amazing nice touches...over abundant lanai furniture with programmed candlelight...and wait til you see the view of the ocean, the sunsets, the stars as you are beach front... owners couldn’t be more helpful or accommodating. Best stay ever!! Memories forever!!

Even better than photos
Janell is super easy to work with: kind, prompt, literally welcoming you into her home! We could have arrived with the clothes on our back only and been more than prepared! This home has EVERYTHING- beach gear, snorkeling gear (ALL sizes), a wagon (my back was so grateful!), ALL toiletries our family of five needed for an entire week, not to mention the MOST amazing kitchen!!! There were dishes and tools and supplies for whatever we could want to prepare. I LOVED how everything from the stove to the tv remotes were labeled and explained. I LOVED how I could pad through the condo while everyone was asleep and was able to make coffee, open drawers etc without making any sound! This place is 100% everything it says and beyond! The lanai - good gosh - chairs set up all around to enjoy a different view each part of the day. Concierge was amazing helping us to book tours (great discounts!), staff was amazingly friendly, grounds were beautiful and Whaler’s village is right next door!!!!! It was perfect for dinners and letting the teenagers roam a bit on their own. The distance to black rock was key for us - my kids absolute favorite Maui destination. The beach was amazing! We had complimentary massages by the pool and Kamron was super amazing not only massage but also giving us insights into some of the lesser known must-sees on the island. Truly - meeting him was a highlight of our trip. I would 100% stay here again- the owners really spared no expense to make this place very classy with beautiful artwork, decorative pieces. Cabinetry, etc- and yet it feels like home at the same time. We were honored to be welcomed. Parking was free!!!! Pool was on the small side but we always found chairs and enjoyed it nonetheless. Choose this place - talk to Janelle - you will not regret it!!!!!
