Nestled in Rotorua, this lovely house for $276 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Tarawera Trout Woods is a popular perfectly positioned lakeside holiday house. It is situated on a beautiful part of the lake. The magical view facing to Lake Tarawera can be seen from many of the rooms. The North facing deck with the BBQ, is great for social gatherings or enjoying an evening drink. This property also features on my own 2 Lakes site if your preference is to deal directly and with no web fees. The lake edge walking track is easily accessible in both directions and the lawn is great for picnics and ball games. The large jetty can handle multiple boats and the water is well protected from prevailing South Easterlies, Southerlies and South Westerly winds. Fishing from the jetty can be quite productive when using the right technique. Tarawera Trout Woods is suitable for two families holidaying together or 4 couples. It is also suitable for corporate team building events. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are accessible by outside stairs. The lounge room has a wood burning fire for chilly winters and the bedrooms have oil heaters for cold weather. A TV and DVD player are supplied. A landline telephone for local calls only, and ADSL broadband is provided. There is limited mobile phone reception in certain parts of Tarawera. The stainless steel kitchen is well equipped and has a magnificent view of the lake. The lovely Lockwood signature stained exposed pine is evident throughout the house. Tarawera Trout Woods is a great getaway for a relaxing holiday or long weekend. Special conditions: BOOKING PRICE IS FOR 6 PEOPLE. THERE IS AN EXTRA NIGHTLY CHARGE OF $35 PER PERSON UP TO THE MAXIMUM. STRICTLY NO EXTRA GUESTS WITHOUT APPROVAL. ALL CARE TO BE OBSERVED WHEN USING THE KAYAKS AND CORRECTLY SIZED LIFE JACKETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. PETS MUST STAY OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE ON THE DECK AREA. NO TENTS PITCHED ON THE LAWN OR MOTORHOMES PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY. Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$200.00 per stay); Linen (Optional, NZ$35.00 per person);

We booked this Bach for our friends to stay in when attending our Son’s wedding. They all enjoyed the lakefront proximity to our Bach. Was great for what we required it for.

Such a great place to stay! We loved every bit. The house was perfect for our family and kids. Having 3 separate bathrooms really gave us our own individual spaces. Perfect having the jetty out the front that we could see from the house, we had 2 boats tied up there. Great stay, plenty of space and a sizeable lawn for the kids! Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property right beside lake for swimming and walks to playground. Plenty of space inside for extended family with young children. Easy to use kitchen & multiple bathroom facilities. Ideal location for support of Tarawera multisport event.

This is a first class property. We found it in very clean condition. The instructions provided by the manager were clear and concise. A very well appointed property that has a bit of everything. We had an awesome and relaxing week with great weather.

Master bedroom and lounge of house were great. Not ideal if you have small children and plan to have them in upstairs rooms as this is only accessible by outside stairs.

It is a very specious, cozy and well equipped holiday house with everything you need for an exciting family holiday. It is right at the lakefront, has it's own jetty and kayaks and there are plenty of things to do. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay and would love to come back. Our kids rated it as the best holiday house we have stayed so far at Lake Tarawera.

Excellent lakeside property positioned in a sheltered bay (except from Northerly winds) with good boat jetty, Well set up with seperate bedrooms and bathrooms, ideal for couples or groups, or families with children. Comfortable, with lenty of space to relax with well maintained equipment and facilities and large north facing deck. Top spot.

Had a great stay by the lake. Beautiful views & lovely with the fire going inside. Even had the fire made ready to light for when we arrived. Only 15 mins from Rotorua so perfect if you plan on doing all the tourist activities.

Not as clean as usual, gas bottles empty on arrival - full ones got dropped off after phone call. Hole in lower deck, Bought our own Nespresso pods only to discover the machine is gone. Otherwise loved new couch new jetty is fantastic. Had fabulous weather. Back again next year 🤞

Whanau holiday for 6 nights at Trouteood was awesome, lots of space, had all the amenities to cook, clean and wash. Close to Lake, lawn for kids to play and big outdoor deck for BBQing and eating/sitting. Overall was satisfactory for a family with lots of kids.
