Comfortable, tasty breakfast fantastic place to explore the East Neuk, lovely hosts.

The White House was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights, Graeme and Hazel were fantastic hosts and let us check in early, which meant we could head out for a long walk exploring the Fife coastal path on the day we arrived. Pittenweem is a gorgeous place, we missed the arts festival which I think would be good to return to for a visit but The White House was also packed with creative treasures. My personal highlight was the Tidal pool, what a great place to swim, followed by smoked haddock and chips from the Larachmhor on the shore front. I was able to dry my swimming things in the garden at the White House ( a lovely garden too!) Pittenweem is perfectly placed to explore the East Neuk both by car but also on foot on the coastal path in both directions. The breakfast was perfect , lovely home made granola and yummy yoghurt , fruit juice, toast and Butteries ( a sort of Scottish croissant!) with delicious coffee, my perfect breakfast. If heading this way again we would definitely book again.

I loved everything! My husband would have preferred the option of a cooked breakfast , but this was a minor thing and wouldn't stop him from wanting to stay again.

Great location near to a pub for dinner and not far from the harbour. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Very friendly hosts who prepared a lovely continental breakfast each morning. Really enjoyed my stay at the White House.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Pittenweem, so central to explore the East Neck.

Graeme and Hazel were fantastic hosts. Along with Cooper, their gorgeous dog, I was made to feel very welcome. They had so much information about the local area which was super helpful as I was there to do wild swimming and they pointed out places I wasn't aware of. The continental breakfast was super tasty, Hazel made her own granola which was delicious and there was always plenty.

This is a minor point, but I would have preferred an en suite bathroom (I knew it was separate in the description of then room) but it was private i.e. only used by me which was great.

A home from home, a really enjoyable holiday.

Graeme and Hazel are lovely hosts. They looked after us really well and made us feel very much at home. The White House is a lovely clean, property, with a lot of character. Proximity to the High Street and the pub made it a perfect base for walking the Fife Coast. Cooper, the Labradoodle, man’s best friend.

Excellent stay

Very warm welcome. Nice home in a charming little town, very close to gorgeous sites in Fife county. Excellent breakfast.

The room is a bit small but it is very well fitted so, it is not a problem.

Beautiful area for walking, beaches and scenery.

Very friendly host who had good knowledge of area. Lovely breakfast. Loved the homemade granola & locally grown strawberries.

Very enjoyable.

Very comfy and homely, Hazel and Graeme were excellent hosts and a mine of useful information. Breakfast was delicious with Hazels homemade granola, warm fruit and homemade yogurt, but the star of the show was Cooper the dog who was everybody’s friend.

There was nothing we didn’t like and would definitely return when visiting the area again.

Superb

Hazel & Graeme are very friendly and accommodating hosts. Breakfast was just right with fruit, home made granola and local artisan bread. The double bed was very comfortable and the bedroom and en suite were very clean. I enjoyed my stay and hope to return later in the year. Recommended.

Breakfast was lovely. Delicious granola with warmed fruit and locally sourced produce and delicious bread from local bakers. Graham and Hazel were superb hosts along with their adorable dog Cooper.

Happy visit!

The Hosts were most welcoming and helpful, and had a fantastic knowledge of the area. Delicious Homemade granola, in essence a continental breakfast, was prepared at a time that suited me. A delightful assortment of teas are available in the room, complimented with tasty biscuits. The location was perfect, no parking battles and a short walk to the harbour. Property is an Aladdins Cave of antiquities!

I personally found that the mattress was not firm enough for me (I have back issues) and also the telly could be upgraded to a bigger size.

Short Break Perfection

We were made very welcome. The house is the perfect mix of charm and quirkiness. Home-made granola for breakfast was delicious and our room was spotlessly clean. Cooper the labradoodle is adorable. Would definitely recommend.

Very welcoming and comfortable.

Graham & Hazel were very welcoming and friendly. We arrived earlier than the check in time but our room was ready and we were shown our room which enabled us to leave our luggage and head out. The room was spotless, beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. Bedding was good quality and lovely to sleep in. Our bathroom was sparkling and hot water was a plenty. Breakfast was very nice, Hazel's home made granola was delicious and gluten free which was great for me as I am coealic. Fresh locally sourced fruit, orange juice, toast, tea/coffee. There was nothing about my visit not to like. An added plus was Cooper the cockapoo who was friendly but not overly fussed by our presence. Will certainly be back.
