This house is beautiful!!! It is the perfect location to town & the beach. We could not imagine a more perfect vacation. We got Miguel as a chef for two meals, worth every penny! Did a Catamaran ride with Marina Del Ray, seeing the sunset from the water was breathtaking. Highly recommend Dragon Fly & Bamboo Sushi. We rented golf carts and that made it very easy to get around and check out the town. Brian & Carolina were so great to work with throughout the entire process. We cannot wait to be back!!!! Pura Vida y’all.

Casa Papaya is amazing! Brian and Ricardo and staff took care of us for 10 days. The house has amazing views and Howler monkeys come by on the trees each morning that’s fun and exciting to watch. Iguanas hang out and I’m in the backyard. We were a party of nine- with teens and adults and everyone loved it. Rent golf carts to get around and it’s super easy! Great surfing, mangrove boat tour and more walking distance. Wonderful restaurants. We love Tamarindo and Casa Papaya is the perfect place to stay!

We had a great time at Casa Papaya. We loved the large living and kitchen areas and the pool. The only thing we didn’t like was there was no comfortable seating. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens were plentiful. Thank you for a great time.

The place was great! Lots of space, super pool area and a great location (close to everything, but far enough that the noise at night wasn't an issue).
The two most impressive things were the maintenance staff and the well appointed kitchen. The cleaning staff show up every day and deep clean the entire place. There were some minor issues, and they showed up to fix them right away (even replacing a ceiling fan completely). We like to cook, and the kitchen had everything you need to do so properly.
The property was beautiful and you could tell that the property management knew what they were doing.
Highly recommend! We hope to go back with other couples next time.

Amazing property all around from the beautiful landscaping, pool, daily maid service and location just to name a few. Communication was great with the property manager and very attentive to all our needs. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future.

We have visited Tamarindo several times before, but this was our second year booking Casa Papaya. I cannot say enough good things about this property, it truly feels like our home away from home. From the amazing house staff, to Carolina and Brian who accommodated our special requests, Costa Rica overall has become one of our favorite travel destinations. We brought board games from the States, and sat around the refreshing pool and laughed and laughed. We booked a private sunset catamaran with Marlin del Rey (I highly recommend this company), enjoyed the local restaurants (checking out the food trucks is a MUST), and throughly enjoyed the clean, spacious and comfortable house. Should the property be available for our next return to Tamarindo, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for having us, we will miss this place immensely, largely in part because of how gracious you have been to us and providing a memorable experience we’ll always remember fondly.

Casa Papaya was perfect for our girls trip! The house was clean and in a great location - we especially enjoyed the backyard and pool area. Carolina was very helpful in getting us in touch with transportation needs, etc. and was always quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

We rented the house for two weeks for our family of 9, 5 adults and 4 children. House was excellent, very clean, well equipped with everything we needed, fully air conditioned, great pool, plus excellent location within easy walking distance to beach and centre of town, restaurants etc. The best surprise was Angie and Jorge who came in every day with a smile and cleaned every room, washed up, washed any towels or clothes we left out, changed sheets twice a week, cleaned the pool area and generally made us feel welcome and added to our experience of Costa Rica. Brian also dropped by to get us settled in and later to check all was OK. We were not expecting this level of personal attention which was much appreciated. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay in tamarindo.

Costa Rica Prime tours was a great place to start for transportation to and from the airport as well as excursions. Rachel and Douglas were fantastic. We rented golf carts as well from paradise golf cart rentals and was well worth it. All in all the communication between all parties involved was spectacular, which is really important especially traveling out of the country. They all made it easy!!! Pura Vida

Loved our stay at Casa Papaya!
Casa Papaya was the perfect base for our Tamarindo vacation. Carolina did a fantastic job getting us ready for our trip, connecting us to golf cart services, tour providers, transportation, covid testing resources, and she even stocked the fridge for our late arrival! The service she provided was invaluable and it allowed our group to hit the ground running upon arrival! Our two families (4 adults, 5 kids) had plenty of room in this palace, it felt like we had our own personal resort! The golf carts we rented made it very easy to get around. The grounds of Casa Papaya are gorgeous and lush! Angie and Jorge kept the place immaculate inside and out and were gracious and incredibly attentive to our needs. Brian stopped by and was very helpful and welcoming! The pool with the waterfall and jumping platform kept us all entertained and cooled us off in the heat of the day. There was plenty of shade in the pool area, which was nice. We saw tons of iguanas and beautiful birds and other animals while sitting by the pool or on one of the many balconies. The master suite is spectacular. I hope to return very soon to this tropical paradise. ¡Muchísimas gracias y pura vida!

My wife and I rented this nice home with 3 other couples, it was large enough to easily accommodate our needs. It was close to many restaurants, shops and the beach. Renting a golf cart was very helpful to get around town. The pool was great, had a new grill for cooking out. The staff that came to freshen up the house each morning were helpful and accommodating, they did their routines without being disruptive..
The weather was sunny and warm each day, a nice breeze would kick in every so often which helped.
We enjoyed our stay in Casa Papaya.

Absolute Paradise!! Better than photos can capture.
Every room, every balcony, every part of the property is just beautiful. The caretakers are extremely accommodating whether you need a lot of support, or you just want to be left alone. You don't need to leave the house at all, but the restaurants and beach are less than 5 minute drive into the heart of the action. Wildlife including birds, monkeys, huge iguanas and some kind of mammoth cricket occupy the property and provide plenty of entertainment. The pool is gorgeous, so is the view from the upper balcony, and the breeze is perfect. Thank you for sharing this palace!!

Best Week Ever!
Our stay at Casa Papaya was our third time in Tamarindo, and this rental property completely exceeded our expectations. I cannot say enough about Carolina and Brian’s hospitality, they truly made our experience feel white glove. Our travel group included 9 adults and the accommodations were perfect for all of us. Renting a golf cart was a great investment for the week. The cleaning team that came daily were so gracious. We will absolutely consider Casa Papaya for our rental if we return to Tamarindo in the future.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Casa Papaya was everything we anticipated and more. The property is absolutely amazing and the on-site daily staff was tremendous! King By The Sea provided amazing service and Carolina is the Queen of logistics! She was so helpful during every step of the process and helped us with all of our transportation needs and put us in contact with all the right people for food and tours! You cannot go wrong renting from this property manager! Word of advice is to definetly get golf carts as they were a great way to get to the beach and all through the great town of Tamarindo!!!!

Great Experience
This home was nicer than expected! The pool area is amazing you almost don't want to leave your compound. If you have kids or would like to see the whole town I would recommend Golf carts. The house is not too far from town but it is hilly and can be slick if you are not carful. I recommend getting a shuttle service from the airport and using golf carts to zip around town.

This home was perfect for our group of 5. The listing photos of this home are completely realistic. This home offered more room than our group needed, and we were easily able to spread out for privacy, yet amazing areas to come together as a group as well. The pool was a refreshing treat after a long day. The ability to walk to the heart of Tamarindo to eat was a nice bonus as well! The property manager was always available, and the housekeeper and grounds keeper Angie and Jorge kept the place in great shape for our entire stay. Rent this house, you won’t regret it!

The property is immaculate and perfect. We didn't have hot water the weekend we stayed, but our host was very apologetic. It's a 10-15 minute walk down a hill to the beach, so renting an ATV could be a smart move.
