About this condo rental
Located in Purgatory, this attractive condo for $191 per night is a great choice for your next break. **Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking *** Just like its namesake indicates, the Village Center is at the epicenter of the Durango Mountain Resort and Purgatory experience. There is no better location for your winter or summer adventures. The condo (Unit 506) is a corner residence and is located on a single level on the 5th floor with elevator access and has two decks to enjoy the amazing views of the Needles Mountain Range, perhaps the most stunning and gorgeous array of 14,000 foot peaks in all of the Colorado Rockies. The condo also features a gas grill, new washer/dryer and WIFI and the King and Queen mattresses were replaced in Aug 2022. The Village Center building features a hot tub on the roof with great views, a restaurant, 2 bars, an arcade, a slopeside deck, Purgatory’s ski school, the Purgatory childcare facility, 2 ski rental shops (one for high performance gear), and the resort’s premier shopping location, Purgatory Sports. With the deli right next door offering great sandwiches, breakfast, and light groceries, you truly won’t have to get in your car after you arrive. Bed Configuration: Main Bedroom - King Bed with TV and Ensuite Bath (Main Floor) 2nd Bedroom - Queen Bed and Bunks Bed (single over single) (Main Floor) 3rd Bedroom (Living Space) - King Pull Out Sofa with TV (Main Floor) Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied. For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added. Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. We had a great time at this property. It was clean, the kitchen well stocked with tools, plenty of clean towels, and lots of room to spread out. The beds were comfortable - we would absolutely stay in this unit again. Book it - you will love it!

Excellent location with gorgeous views of mountains, Village center and ski slopes. Large, spacious condo which was comfortable. Some areas of condo need updating, others have been updated. Difficult to tell if coffee pot and dishes were clean so we washed everything before we used them (some appeared dirty). Thermostat is finicky. Owners responsive and helpful. Rooftop jacuzzi was nice. Overall great experience!

Spent an amazing 6 nights at this fabulous property. Everything was well appointed and precisely as advertised. Communication with management was absolutely fantastic and every need was attended to very promptly. 10/10 fully recommended

Worst overall ski reservation system in the world, and I have skied a lot of places. Apparently( the exclusive club, which I paid an extra $26 for (really, $26), could not let us in, so the owner of the reservation system and Purgatory resort abused me by email so much that I gave up on skiing with my daughter. I’ve been a season pass holder and a volunteer for decades, but Purgatory is just Texas now.

Purgatory is a great place to go with older kids to experience the Colorado outdoors in the summer. Location was ideal in the mountains with easy access to Durango. The condo view was as shown and an end quiet unit. It does face the main street of the village and could be noisy. The condo was spacious living area and master bedroom. The second bedroom was cramped with the two beds. There is no AC which we were not aware of, but the unit cooled off by opening windows at night. The kitchen is older but functional with all the essentials. The unit was clean except for dust, it could of been more thoroughly cleaned. Overall we were happy with the unit because it was a perfect location in the mountains, spacious and with comfortable beds.

After asking a random person who was also there (in the off season there are very few people here, so stumbling upon someone felt like you were the last man on Earth), found out the main office is in one of the buildings across the way.
Other than those two suggestions above, the place was wonderful.

This condo was perfect for our family—grandparents and grown daughter’s family. The location was great for skiing—ski in/ski out. The pizza place on the first floor was very convenient. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tubs.

Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc., so that, even though we stayed in the "off-season" and most restaurants and shops were closed, we were able to cook dinners (and baked goods) for our family.

It's a very clean, very comfortable property. Didn't do as much cooking as in the past, everything was there to prepare meals, a grill on the balcony. Love the location with the view of the plaza from the balcony.

This place is an absolute gem!! The room had all of the amenities to make a large family feel right at home. The unit was very spacious and allowed us room to spread out as needed. The beds were comfortable, and it felt super homey in the unit. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave.
There was only one thing that was a little worrisome for our family. The balcony is not safe for toddlers. The railing is widely spaced, and a little person could easily fit through them. We didn’t use the balconies for that reason. I noticed that other units had modified the railing on their balconies, which would be really helpful here.
Outside of that, absolutely perfect!! Thanks for hosting us!!

Quiet Resort
Great place, wonderful view, quiet, very secure. My only complaint is that we didn’t know until we checked in that everything was basically shut down. Whether this was seasonal , Covid related or??? No restaurant except 30 miles away in Durango. There was a little market but it closed at 4pm. We have stayed at other ski resorts in off season and there were some options to eat. Not complaining about the quiet, I just would have prepared better had I known this in advance.

Our condo was very nice with a fantastic view of the mountains from our deck and every window, however, the resort itself needed to get their onsite restaurants open! We had to drive quite a distance to find a decent selection for meals since there was only one pizza joint open on the resort, the other restaurants were always closed!

Such a great trip and the condo was more spacious than it looks in photos. Plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out. Great table for playing games and the couch is huge!
