Would definitely stay here again

the location is fantastic, less than a min walk to Santa Maria beach and also the main steet where all the bars and restaurants are. Rod (the host) was also fantastic, he came on the 2nd day to introduce himself and told me to let him know if there was any issue and also gave some general information. I ended up messaging him as there was some problems with the shower head, the next day this was fixed :-)

would’ve been nice with a hair dryer and also cleaning could’ve been a little better as there was squashed bugs on the walls by the bed and in the bathroom from previous guests. It can be a bit noisy with the music from outside, however I was aware of this before I booked it based on the reviews and as I am a heavy sleeper, I wasn’t too bothered by this. but a light sleeper might have a problem with this

- No amenities in the bathroom (was staying in few other spots in cabo verde that were much cheaper and it was available) - booked double bed room (as I was travelling with my partner) the owner asked if we want two single bed appartment - very unprofessional approach (I am aware of the room type while confirming booking) - owner offered ‚cheap’ Taxi to bring us from the airport to the spot - we could arrange transportation for way cheaper money (1 eur per person) - price vs quality received

Very good

At first I got a flat facing the street with a bar which was quite load. Since Im not really a party girl I was not very happy But the manager has other Apartments and immediately moved me with no extra charge. So really that worked out well and my apartment was really nice and I could see the ocean from my Window. Also there is a rooftop excellent for yoga practise. Friendly staff and good managment. Comfortable bed. Water pressure is a bit low but that goes for the entire island I think. I would recommend staying here, and to Ask for ocean view! 🫶🫠

Good

The hotel is close to the surf spot and is in the city center. Roderick booked a taxi that waited us in the airport. He was really friendly and ready to help and answer on questions. The number has everything that you need for a week. Affordable price.

As we stayed at the room number 2 our windows faced the street with a Tapas bar. They put the music super loud every day except Monday from 18 till midnight. I have to admit that it was disturbing. So if you don't plan to party hard till late and prefer to wake up early to be able to enjoy the morning and have some rest before your surfing session -- this place isn't for you. The Ocean Side bar and the English bar in the neighbourhood don't help either.

Superb

Nice appartment to stay in right in the middle of Santa Maria, close to the beach and the center. The owner Roderick was very attentive and helpful! He even made it possible to use some of the amenities after check out because of out late flight.

Its in the middle of the City, so if you need quietness to sleep, this apartment is not for you ;)

Great spot for party people!

It was very spacious, clean en in the middle of the centre of Santa Maria. The beach is across the street. The owner is really helpfull and arranged a trusted taxi driver for me.

Ofcourse when you're staying in such a central place, it can be noisy. If you like to party a lot, you won't mind. There's music until 3 in the night. Sometimes longer. And this music comes from different places, so you also can't enjoy it😅. It's like there's a dj playing under your window.

Perfect location for everything. The rooftop view was stunning and roderik (the owner) is a super nice guy. Very friendly and helpful. We will be back soon

The host was very helpful all the time. We would stay again.

The apartment was very close to the beach and main square. Everything was close and it was very convenient.

It is in center so at night you can hear the music from the bars.

Exceptional

Roderick was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and was very flexible in allowing us to have a late check out on our last day. He is very knowledgeable about the island and has great communication. The apartments themselves are really well located, have everything you need and are very clean.

The only thing which could have been better is if more people used the rooftop terrace as it would have been great to meet more people out there

Amazing stay! Totally recommend.

You can't think of a better location in Santa Maria. Just seconds from both beach and the High street. The apartment had A/C which was perfect, all you need in the kitchen and the view from the rooftop is spectacular! Perfect for watching sunset with a glass of wine! The owner is super friendly, responsive and helpful.

Really minor: Maybe balcony sound isolation could be a tiny bit better, but didn't bother me as a good sleeper, plus it's what you get when staying central. Little dryer thing on the balcony could help :)
