This deluxe home offers beachfront living at it's best! Nestled right in the sandy dune on the south-side of Bayshore, the house literally sits right on the beach! With fine finishings and attention to detail, this beautiful Central Oregon Coast 3 bedroom, 3 bath home sleeps up to 6 guests. The Sandy Beach Retreat boasts commanding views of the Pacific Ocean. Head outside to stroll, jog, fly a kite, or just meander on the long, sandy beach. There is sand just waiting to transform into sandcastles, agates and sand dollars waiting to be found, and driftwood to collect! This seaside retreat is flooded with natural light. When you return from your beach adventure you'll enjoy warming up by the huge rock fireplace. This home has a master suite with a King bed and a second bedroom with a king bed with an attached bath. Upstairs is a roomy loft with a queen and a king that can be split into 2 twins. There is also an oversized bonus room downstairs with a queen sleeper sofa, large flat screen TV and a pool table. There's plenty of common space to relax and enjoy, with free WiFi and a well-stocked kitchen, you're sure to enjoy every moment in this very special beach house! Your four-legged canine friends are welcome to join you here, too. This rental is equally perfect for a romantic oceanside retreat as it is for a friends and family getaway. Guests of this home also have access to the Bayshore swimming pool on a daily fee basis. The swimming pool (open seasonally in the summer) schedule of swim times will be posted at pool entrance. Renters must provide their rental agreement and photo identification to gain access. Access may be restricted during busy times. Please note: Because the home sits in the dune on the south-side of Bayshore, the streets and driveway often fill with blown sand. 4 wheel drive recommended. Sleeps up to 6 - 3 Bedrooms, 3 King,(1 can be split into 2 Twins with 72 hour advance notice), 1 Queen, 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa, 3 baths. Vehicles: Licensed for 4 (strictly enforced) No boats, trailers or RV's per HOA rules. Standard: 3 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum. *Each home is individually owned. Amenities and furnishings are subject to change at any time. Please contact our office with any questions. Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision. This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. The property and home was very clean and kept up. Linens, bedding and furniture were odorless and exceptionally clean. The property managers were promptly responsive at all times. The home and property were exactly as pictured. Definitely recommend!

My husband, teenager and 3 friends had a wonderful long weekend here. The house was perfect, and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach front location!

Waldport is always a bit warmer and staying in Bayshore is like being in Hawaii! This home is beautiful with large windows and a great view. Hot tub was nice as well.

I would stay at this same place again but if my FIL complain about the stairs. If you have older folks that struggle with stairs you may want consider a different place. If stairs don’t bother you, book this place. It’s the perfect location and the home is set up with everything for everyone.

This property is absolutely fantastic. Within the first day we knew that we would love to come back. Everything worked great, and to be able to walk out the back door and be on the beach was the exact reason we wanted to book here. Was not at all disappointed. Not a knock on the property at all but I would recommend anyone with real small kids to bring some extra baby proofing just so you can relax more. Cannot wait to come back.

One of the very best Waldport properties that we have rented in the past 30 years. However, the pool table needs new cushions - they are totally dead - may as well be wood in their current condition.

We drove about five hours and had booked the property months in advance. Upon our arrival, the house was dirty and one of the beds pillow smell like dog urine so bad that you could just smell it in the bed all night long. The bottom floor also smell like dog urine on the couch. We booked this place in particular because it had a hot tub. We got up the next morning to use the hot tub and it was cold. We looked around to see how we could get it heated up. We had no luck so we ended up calling the management. I cannot believe how poor the customer services was. I called that morning and left a message and never received a call back so my husband continue to call until somebody finally answered later that night. They knew the hot tub was broken but we’re still advertising that it was part of the deal. I know it’s just a hot tub but when you book a place specifically because of some of those amenities. You look forward to enjoying those when the time comes. They were completely unapologetic about the situation which is sad. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else for multiple reasons. What a bummer.

Beautiful house! Location was great. Loved the view and the hot tub! This house has everything you need for a great vacation. Kitchen stocked good with everything you would need to cook up a meal. Could use some new skillets. The insides were very scratched up. Beds very comfortable! Plenty of bath towels, chairs and toys for the beach. Great back deck for bbq's or just hanging out!

My dads birthday was the reason for the stay, my dad and mom have always taken us to the ocean. It was time to return the favor. My dad being 89 has a hard time walking to the beach, so i brought the beach to his front door. He loved watching the waves right from the comfort of the couch. Thank you, this vacation was worth its weight in gold

Premium price for a not so Premium house. I will start off will all the good. The house is on the beach, if you want to get closer you'll be in the water. If you have fur babies, they can come too. There's plenty of room for a large family or multiple families. There's a nice deck out back for a BBQ or just a nice gathering, you can even have a nice fire just past the deck while you listen to the waves crash. Board games, beach toys, beach chairs, clam guns, beach umbrella. All in all it's a nice house.
Now the bad; the cleaning crew is horrible, I'm not talking about sand in the house, that's inevitable because it's a beach house. Checking in on our first day I lay down in a supposed clean bed in the master bedroom only to find someone else's dog hairs all over the inner sheets that I lay on. I shouldn't find a chewed dog toy, a champagne cork, and a dog bowl under the couch and cabinet next to the kitchen table respectively. The BBQ grill didn't look like it had been cleaned for months, if not ever. The hot tub was broken since April according to the guest register and yet it is still advertised as working on the website and it is the end of August, that to me spoke volumes of the rental management company. Pool table rails are broken, you can still play, but you don't get the response you'd normally get from an actual intact table. Foosball works, but some players don't spin. The washer and dryer works, but I would suggest doing laundry during the day and not at night, because of the loud noise it makes could keep people awake. The house has no AC which is fine, but there should be screens on the windows especially in the kitchen, and a screen door to the patio so you can keep them open, and if you have animals they don't get out. There should be fans available for the guests if there is no AC, this is common practice in the rental industry. I paid a premium price (and you will to if you chose to stay here) to stay in this house therefore I expect a premium product and this house is far from that. For the amount of money everyone pays per night, things should either be in good working order or fixed. As far as the cleaning crew, I'd fire them and hire someone who will actually clean the house before new guests arrive, they have 6 hours, it's not rocket science. Needless to say we will not be staying at this house again due to the poor management that oversees this rental property. I sincerely hope the home owners read this review.

Good location. Love the deck and our grandson really enjoyed the sand dunes right off the deck!:) Wish the hot tub worked though, only reason we were willing to pay high price for this property, so disappointed:/

Best location
This house provided the best beach access location. There are quite a few steps through a dune to the beach, however, with our grandkids they could play in the dune sand right off the deck. We also had a fire for hot dogs not far from the deck in a little dip in the dune, off from the wind. The house was very nice, excellent beds and linens. Plan on taking all your own food, only had salt/pepper and olive oil spray. We were also glad we brought our own paper towels, soap (both dish and dish washer) as the quality wasn't what we enjoy. They provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers. There was a nice washer and dryer available (no cost). The very best part was the view and beach access.

We had a great time and this property is amazing for families with kids and pets. Close to the water and the beach is awesome. Magical Location!! Perfect for a family stay!
It was absolutely gorgeous! Sand gets everywhere, but we’ll take it in exchange for the experience that we had at this house! I surprised my family, and it was nothing short of what I imagined it would be when we arrived! The property manager was available for anything we needed. The beach is RIGHT outside! Ocean was glorious! Everyone was so sad to leave!

We all had a great time. The layout is great for families with kids of multiple ages. My girls enjoyed being able to go in the back yard and play in the sand. wonderful 1 week stay. Ony negatives were cleaners were not ready at the 5pm check in time. we had to wait an xtra 40 minutes fir them to finish. Also Check in time is at 5pm instead of 4pm and Check out time is 10 am instead of 11am

What the best part was was that the house was so big, with so many areas, that we could be together and also be apart, each to do their own thing. The kids loved the pool table (first time playing), the stuff in the garage, the seclusion of their "own" loft, the music and lights in the hot tub (nice touch)... and of course the location was fabulous. Loved the quiet and privacy and beauty of the beach.
As you know, we had some minor issues, most our unfamiliarity with the appliances and technology in question, some actual housekeeping and maintenance oversights, but all things that were promptly taken care of, and we really appreciated the prompt attention.
Once we figure out our dates for next year we will again be hopefully renting the same property. Thanks again.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy Beach Retreat. However, you should know what you are getting. We felt the house is lacking in the TLC it requires. I understand the limitations of a rental but this is not our first Vrbo. For the premium price of the rental the recreation equipment should be in at least playable condition. To be specific: the ping pong balls were all dented so unusable. We bought more and left them behind. The paddles are in very poor condition. The basketball game frame is broken as well as the scoreboard. It was not usable. The pool table has a loose bumper and several cues are in disrepair. We did find the Wii game to be a nice touch and a lot of fun. We also enjoyed the hot tub.
Back to disrepair: the screen door to the deck is ripped. The soffit outside the hot tub facing the beach is falling off and something is nesting (?) there. One of the small windows in the loft is missing the screen. It looks like it is sitting in the garage. The "5" on the microwave works as a "6"(how does that even happen?).
We were anxious to get into the house, but I can see how it takes so long to get this place clean-it is large and sand gets everywhere. The overall level of cleanliness was poor. The sheet on the basement hide-a-bed was soiled, there was a child's candy laying on the floor. Upstairs, there was broken glass behind the master bedroom nightstand. There was so much sand under the cushions of the couch it appears not to be cleaned regularly. The floor under the couch was sandy from the last visitors as well as having crayons under there. In the second bedroom, there were someone's black, dusty tights under the bed.
Despite the warnings of our dogs pooping, I found all kinds of dog piles around the perimeter of the house. I picked them up as I found them but this should have been done prior to our visit. The garbage can was half full when we arrived. We were seven people and a baby for six nights-we generated a lot of garbage. which barely fit by the end of our stay.
We tried not to make a big dig of the downfalls when they came up because I didn't want to put a damper on anyone's vacation. We were lucky to get one son and his girl to come due to Covid-they haven't left their home in over a year. In light of the uptick in Covid, cleanliness should be more important than ever.
We did enjoy the beach and luckily we had good weather so we spent much time outside. It is a beautiful, sandy beach.

Amazing location and beautiful house
This was a great place. There were so many options for the kids and spaces for everyone to be. The downstairs game room was a huge hit and my we loved sitting on the deck and in the hot tub. Overall we could not have asked for a better spot.
