Room was good, especially with the separate bedroom and living areas. Breakfast was good. Roof top pool was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Complimentary shuttle to the train stations was excellent. And location was perfect.
The hotel could do with a freshen. It looked a bit old and tired.

Great as always. Tried breakfast as gad not tried in a while. It was good but having just come from Tokyo was not a patch on Japanese breakfasts but friendly staff. Scrambled eggs much better than omelette which was dry. Everything else usual great review.
Internet is getting better at Admiral but to change the router on Day 1. When it is working it's very good.

The location is great. Quiet and close to everything. There were no problems with the staff either, they were very good.
It's an outdated building. I booked a very large one-bedroom room because I like spacious rooms. My space was very large, but all the furniture was old and worn. The first room I booked already had a bad smell. They changed it later, but the second one was no different except for the strong room freshener they used before I arrived. Worn-out sofas, curtains, and carpets cause these kinds of problems in the long run. There are reasons why many good hotels don't use carpets, opting instead for leather and easy-to-clean upholstery, and abandoning these old-fashioned curtains. Considering the price I paid and Bangkok standards, I know there are much better hotels on the other side of the main road. I didn't extend my stay anyway and moved to another hotel. I honestly wouldn't have chosen this place. It's below Bangkok hotel standards; maybe it was nice 10 years ago.
