The location was great but we found ants in our room the first day and had to get staff to resolve the issue
I felt let down and disappointed that staff booked us a premium taxi without our consent and letting us know what the fare difference would be. The least they could have done is paid me back the difference given they didn't ask me for my views. I could have booked 2 taxis and still saved money and that would have my choice. This was co pletely taken away from me by them using their own discretion

리베이라 광장에 있는 동루이스 다리가 잘 보이는 호텔. 주위가 10시까지 음악으로 시끄러웠지만 창문을 닫으면 방음이 잘되었고, 10시이후에는 조용해짐. 도루강 선착장 바로 앞이라 배 타기 좋았음. 차량이 진입하기 어려운 장소라 호텔로 check in 할때는 내리막이라 내려가기 쉬웠지만, check out후에는 캐리어를 끌고 올라가기 힘든 위치임. 제한지역이라 bolt로는 들어갈수 없지만 taxi 는 호텔앞까지 부를수 있음. 조식은 전반적으로 직원들이 친절하고 서비스가 좋았음 .
조식 시작 시간이 7:30분이었는데, 시작 시간이 몹시 붐볐음. 7:00 정도 시작했으면 좋겠음. 조식은 전반적으로 좋았으나, 과일(수박,메론 등)은 일부 신선하지 않아 개선이 필요했음. 치즈 및 햄은 별도의 저온룸에 있는데 처음에는 몰라서 사용 못했음 (안내가 필요함). 역사가 있는 오래된 건물들을 구조 개선해서 만들어 구조가 약간 복잡해 처음에는 방 찾아 가는것이 힘들었음.

Great location. Staff at breakfast were friendly, reception staff helpful
Shower over the bath was a hazard, we were told rooms had been renovated but a walk in shower would have been much better particularly with the cost of the room at over 500 euros per night. Very poor customer service in Vintology, the wine bar.
