We loved the property. We were a party of about 20 people. We were there for our annual family vacation. My siblings and all our families, and we all had a great time. There was something interesting to do for all the different family members
The breakfast was a good spread and lovely
I think they need more choices of daytime and evening restaurants considering that it is on an Island with not many options outside the resort.
I also didn’t like the fact that if you were in one wing you were not allowed to have breakfast in a different wing. It made it impossible for us to have breakfast together as a family since we were scattered in different wings of the hotel.

Large beach area was nice and good location near to Ishigaki Centre. Plenty of parking for rental car
Gym is very small, more than 5 people and it feels crowded. Equipment also old.
Hotel itself is very outdated and not a 5 star experience. The standard of room cleaning is not to the level I would expect from an intercontinental hotel.
Very experience compared to 5 other hotels I stayed in during my 3 week trip to Japan.

The food was top quality. It was like eating in a Michelin restaurant every night. We bought the half board stay option and it was fantastic. The staff also deserve a special mention, everyone was especially attentive, looking to ensure you had everything you need, and was highly focused on a premium holiday experience. These were highlights. The pools were also very nice. The sunset pool is the nicest one - be sure to stay at the bay wing to have access to this pool.
We didn't realise that the hotel had "wings" and depending on what wing you were staying in meant that you only got access to certain pools. This isn't clearly mentioned on the website when you book. We were disappointed that our wing (ocean) didn't give us access to the sunset pool which is the pool we liked the best on the website when we booked. However we spoke to the reception about this and they very kindly accommodated for us to have access to the pool. The staff really cared about us having a good experience so it was overall positive.

Not much I am sorry. The bedrooms were comfortable but the property is dated the staff were nice and tried to make up for it.
Everything. The food wasn’t great, and there was pork everywhere. The swimming pools were tired. The beach not comfortable. The chairs had no mattresses. The food was super expensive and not good enough apart from the Teppanyaki restaurant but very expensive. I cannot say we enjoyed our stay. And to be honest the island is not worth it unless you like snorkelling.
