We had a great time. We especially enjoyed visiting in the evening on the deck. The cabin could use some tender, loving care. The refrigerator didn’t work well enough to freeze ice cubes. A good defrosting would fix it. The secured entrance should have a light. Returning from the day’s activity at night was dangerous. We couldn’t see a thing. There was also a lot of bird poop on the railings of the deck, the table the chairs, and the deck itself. The view was great, but the cabin looked a lot better in the pictures. The door on the north wasn’t locked when we arrived.

The location is great - convenient to all the fun and necessary stuff. The AC works great in the basement, fair on the main floor, and the upstairs is supplemented by a floor-standing window unit. There's some fans and few portable units, but it was difficult to get cooled down at night. The main door - glass sliding into the kitchen needs repaired - the last 12-14" are difficult and jams sometimes - seems like the frame is worn out at the bottom.

We rented the two huge, L-shaped Farmhouses across from this property for our family reunion but needed a few more rooms/beds, so added this little Chalet. It's definitely dated and could use some major upgrades, but it worked well to house all the young adults and newly weds we had at our reunion. The main floor and basement have AC but the Loft and bedroom up there DO NOT HAVE AC and are pretty hot initially. So I suggest turning down the main floor AC to 72 (not allowed to turn it lower) and turning on the window AC unit in the Loft Bedroom as soon as you arrive. I wish the host or cleaning staff would do this 3 hours before arrival to cool the place down. But there are other fans in the loft and once the sun went down and we opened the door from the bedroom up there to the loft area and put a fan in that door blowing the window AC air out into the loft area, it cooled down enough to be able to sleep with the other fans directed toward the beds. The checkout process was super super easy (pretty much nothing required besides cleaning your dishes) so that was nice. Be aware, the basement bathroom does not have a shower head in the tub area and the bathroom in the loft is attached to the bedroom up there. I think the owner would be wise to remove the door to that upper hallway where the bathroom is and put it just at the bedroom entrance so everyone up there has access to the bathroom in the night. As it is, if the people in the bedroom want their door closed, no one can use the bathroom without knocking and disturbing those in the bedroom. Simple fix. Also, the sliding glass door in the kitchen area doesn't open and the blinds do not work in the kitchen. Fixing those would go a long way to keeping the house cool as that window lets in a lot of hot sun. But, remember, the price of this place matches its lack of luster compared to places around it. So I would just say, it's budget friendly, great for an "add-on" place, or great for those who expect less luxury and more cabin vibes. The ping-pong table in the basement provided fun entertainment but there are no water/lake toys as the pictures show. There IS shampoo and body wash provided but not enough to supply everyone in all the beds of the house. They are just tiny hotel size and just one set in each of the three bathrooms. Also, watch your head as you turn the corner to get to the door on the deck...it's a hazard. Several in our group bonked their heads on the low roof corner.

Older cabin, needs more kitchen items for large groups, no a/c basement was freezing, upstairs was boiling, sliding door won’t open when I mentioned it they said they knew ab out it just couldn’t find anyone to fix it. Mislead by all the fees it cost more in fees to stay then the actual stay. Ridiculous !!!

This property was easy to find and had beautiful views of the lake! There was plenty of room for my family and the beds were very comfortable! However, after getting settled we noticed some issues. First, the floor hadn't been vacuumed very well. We moved the coffee table and there was still food crumbs on the floor. Second, there were spider webs in the rafters that were closer than we would have liked. The cabin was stuffy when we first got there but the ceiling fan didn't work. When I went to cook dinner, some of the pans in the cupboard were sticky so I had to wash them before I could use them. The shower curtain in the main floor bathroom is kind of gross and needs to be replaced! I didn't dare put the liner in the tub when I showered, I cleaned up the water on the floor afterwards instead. We went to watch a blue ray movie but the remote didn't have batteries. We had to go through all the other remotes to find batteries that we could switch into the remote we needed. Finally, the lamp shade in the main living room is broken and kept falling off. Altogether these are just little things, but they put a damper on our comfort a little bit. I would also like to mention, that I tried reaching out to the property manager on a couple of things before and during our stay and never heard back from them. That was frustrating to me.

Charming adorable place! It had everything we needed. So much space, it slept everyone comfortably plus some. Everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals. Space to sit and chat and of course ping pong! Everything is well maintained and worked perfectly. Just seconds from the beach and town. We loved our stay!
