The view from the balcony is priceless! All the stairs climbing up and down is paid off by watching the view right from the living room and the balcony. The apartment is spacious and clean. Going down to the old town is 10 minutes but the house is perched on the hill which means there are hundreds of steps of stairs to navigate.
I am surprised to see the negative reviews - people need to do their research before booking. You cannot blame the hosts for things you are prewarned. Risto sent us a lot of information about the parking and how to find the place. The driving can be very difficult and parking is hard to find. So we reserved a parking for 20 euro per night from Risto and saved us all the struggle trying to find a spot on busy D8. Use Google live to research your way in and depending on which way you come, you may need to back out on the very narrow street from and to the parking to D8 which takes some practice. I recommend you to practice at least once the day before you have to rush to the airport because it is more difficult than it looks. And yes, some neighbours could be impatient because we tourists take forever to back out onto the street and we block their way. So find a less busy time to practice - we drove all the way to the peak of M. Srd the day before our departure and found the practice super helpful.
Unlike most other places we stayed in Croatia, the kitchen and the bathroom are not supplied with coffee and other perishable and shampoo shower gel etc. We brought our own so it's not a problem. I could not find kitchen knife but Snezana gave me one when I asked her.
The hosts, Snezana and Risto, live right downstairs and you can ask them for anything you need. They seem very nice and accommodating. We also found the two single duvets on a queen bed a bit strange but we didn't bother to ask them for queen size duvet. But if it bothers you, I'd encourage you to ask the hosts to change them for you.
Nothing for us. But for people with reduced mobility or mind stairs - please read the reviews carefully. You can have a great view of Dubrovnik if you endure the stairs, but you cannot have both the view and flat accessible living condition - not in Dubrovnik. Probably from the cruise ship you can have an as good view from a high level deck without climbing stairs (Viking ones get to anchored close to the old port, but not the giant ships)

The apartment was very clean and spacious, it had everything we needed.
The most amazing was the view from the balcony on the old town.
