About this cottage rental
Situated in Burnside, this charming cottage for $100 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Everyone needs time to relax and recharge. This is the place for you to sit on the large covered back deck and watch the boats go by. In the evening, light the tiki torches, relax on the large round daybed and enjoy the view of Burnside Marina across the lake. This one bedroom, one bathroom cottage, sleeps four comfortably. Master bedroom has a king size, memory foam mattress. Living room has full sized memory foam double reclining sofa, which lays flat for extra sleeping area. Enjoy the 55 inch cable TV in living room and 33 inch tv in bedroom. A DVD player and movies are provided for bedroom TV. Both TVs are on Spectrum with streaming through ROKU. This cottage is a short 10 minute drive to a large selection of restaurants, drive-in movie theater, and shopping in downtown Somerset. It is also a 10 minute drive to two very nice marinas or boat ramps. While visiting Cumberland, add to your bucket list a drive and hike at Cumberland falls. Beautiful 45-minute drive from the cottage. The fully equipped kitchen has all new appliances, Kurig coffee makers with a variety of coffees and teas. Also, toaster, blender, and crock pot plus gas grill. Linens and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). Make yourself at home and enjoy making memories on Cumberland Lake.

We had such an amazing stay at this property! It was very clean and check-in couldn't have been easier! Vicky, the owner, was friendly and easy to reach by text. The cottage had everything we needed along with a beautiful lake view! Definitely hope to be back!

The cabin was quaint and clean. We had trouble climbing up and down the stairs each time we needed to use the bathroom. We also were taken back when we were instructed not to flush toilet paper due to the cabin's septic system. I was uncomfortable with throwing used toilet paper in the bathroom trash. I was also disappointed that the water and ice dispenser on the refrigerator did not work.

Everything was clean and inviting with extras from the host. She kept in touch and plenty of information on-site. We would gladly stay here again. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the tub was amazing. Vickie was a great host and we give her kudos .

The cottage was cute and cozy. Close to golfing and boating. The inside was clean and had nice kitchen supplies. The communication with the owner was excellent. The stairs to the basement bedroom were a little steep and awkward to bring the suitcase down. The outside deck and fire pit could use some deep cleaning. Overall a nice rental.

This is a lovely, quiet, clean place to stay. Vickie is a great host. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer.

It was a mom and daughters trip + my birthday! We had a relaxing weekend. The cottage is very cozy and well equipped with all needs. I was impressed. I felt right at home and it was very clean. Owner was wonderful at responding, will have to come visit again!

The property has a Great Lake view. Had everything needed to make our stay easy. Spotless and decorated for our Anniversary.. The owner is extremely nice and easy to communicate with. Short drive to restaurants and shopping.

Nice, cozy, inviting getaway! My Husband and I just needed to take a break from our hectic life and chose Vickie 's wonderful lake cabin for our stay! Beautiful house and views of the lake! Vickie was super nice and helpful!! Would highly recommend!! Can't wait to come vack and stay again!!

Was very charming and well maintained, the only thing is it would have been nice to be able to see the lake better. (alot of overgrowth). But we were happy with our stay.

The Cottage was beautiful. The location was out of town, but close enough to do things without driving far. We felt at home, but still far enough away to know we were on vacation. The amenities were perfect and there were even more we had not expected. Communication with our Host was perfect! We will stay again in the future.

The house was so cozy and well kept. The google maps street picture of the house is old and outdated. The house and location is great, close to most attractions.
Vickie is a great host. She was always available to help with anything we needed.

The house was nice and cozy. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the steep spiral staircase. I do wish it was in a more secluded area though. Privacy is a little hard to come by outside.
