It was a nice big room and very quiet. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and kind. We enjoyed the swimming pool and were given extra towels. The place grew on us over our stay and in the end we were sorry to leave.
The booking .com site information mentioned the spa but it was only available if you booked a room with a spa. The booking.com site mentioned washing machine and tumble dryer but you had to ask when you could use them as they were used for the hotel housekeeping.

Everything, area, pool, spa, location is absolutely great. Owned by a very nice family for many years. When you’re there don’t forget to ask for trout in the restaurant. Food is delicious over there.

Staff were very accommodating
There was a bad smell in my room possibly due to poor drainage in the bathroom and the rooms could do with an update.
