Safe, convenient and pleasurable stay

Very good

The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and they had lots of good recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

If it wasn’t for the helpful local staff, it would have been real BAD!

Breakfast was fairly decent, the coffee was good. The gentleman serving us was very friendly and helpful. He showed us some of the creatures around, the views, and picked us some limes. And his tortillas were great.

The property was not in great condition. There was a kitchen that didn’t work, with no accessories or a few old dirty things such as a old teapot and a old dirty cutlery tray in a drawer. The small refrigerator was unplugged so had to be turned on. Luckily the young helper let us switch rooms and that was much better, except for doors and windows with lots of gaps to let in ants and crickets. The pool was dirty upon arriving(it did rain a lot the day before I believe but it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while or the filter was not running enough. Most of the furniture around pool was old and needed fixing or replacing.

Serena Vista--a beautiful home-away-from home!

Serena Vista is beautiful---not only the spectacular view but also the design details and decor of the house. The owner and all the staff were so welcoming. It was a lovely, relaxing place to unwind.....and very close (as long as you can handle steps) to the Plaza de las Armas and the main sites of historic Alamos. Breakfast was made to order and excellent! Wonderful Mexican breakfasts with fruit, eggs, refried beans, tortillas, bacon. American breakfast available for those who request it.

We liked everything....but a cautionary note for those who are without a car and don't enjoy walking or flights of steps.

We felt welcomed into an historic home instead of having a typical, hotel experience.

This is a beautiful, historical villa lovingly maintained by its owner, her family, and a long-term staff. Great views and location! Dog-friendly! Rigo’s breakfasts!

GREAT location! Beautiful terrace with views. EVERYONE Friendly

We loved having the stairs down to the Plaza area. Great views! Breakfast was delicious! Extra bonus for us was that our stay was when the Festival Alonzo Ortiz

No hot shower during our stay. Our room was far away from the hot water boiler, we didn't want to run water 15 minutes to get hot. We did mention it to the staff. Were told to let water run until gets hot. Too long for my liking.

Comfortable and very clean, had a nice home feel to it.

The house was very comfortable and the staff were exceptional. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was very nice in the heat of the afternoon.

Amazing. We were offered a Mexican breakfast cooked to our preference.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was exceptional about Casa Serena Vista and we will be going back as soon as possible.

Book it!

Everything. The place was amazing, the view incredible, and the staff very inviting and amiable. The pool was a great place to relax during the day and the shaded area provided great relief from the sun. The breakfast was great every morning and the view at night was unbeatable. Fantastic place, town, and hospitality. Relaxing with some wine and soaking up the view at sunset was magical.
