Perfect place to stay in Old town Dubrovnik

This property was just as described, location 10/10 right in the middle of Old town, was really easy to come back inside at least twice a day to refresh ourselves and go back to have dinner. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful describing the property and also helping with the arrange shuttle to the airport. Also, they were really responsive when you have any questions. About the apartment, really cozy and have everything you need. We didn’t use the kitchen at all so can’t tell that much but bathroom had a lot of space, bed was really comfy and the air conditioning worked perfectly. (If you planned to visit in summer this detail is really important). I will totally book this place if I ever visit again. Price was worth it because we didn’t spend in public transportation since we were just walking around. There are plenty of good restaurants in te area (1-2 min walking) which is amazing

I wont say this is really negative but internet connection was not good. I didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment but at night tried to use the internet and was almost never working. So if you planned to work from here, might not be the best place, you will need to go to a cafe maybe.

We really enjoyed it!

Location fab! It was very convenient to drop off our bags until the apartment was ready. The taxi service was great too and cheaper than quoted at the airport by 11 euros.

The communal area of the apartment block was tired and un inviting.

Disappointing

Location was the only good thing.

When arrived at reception, they brought us around to the apartment we were staying in, it was down a dull lane. When we walked in, the lobby area was disgusting, the smell when you walked in was unbearable, it was very run down and the stairway was very run down also. There was no security features like CCTV etc. and we didn’t feel safe in this apartment block at all. The apartment itself was average with fridge, cooker etc but we couldn’t use any of it as there was ants all over the apartment. When eating at the table, there was ants crawling all over it. We couldn’t leave anything in the bathroom as the ants were everywhere in there also. The room was very dull and dark as we couldn’t open up the shutters. We decided to leave early as we couldn’t last the week there as it would have ruined our holiday. We asked for a compensation for the remainder of the week but they said no. Overall, a disappointing stay.

A very good apartment at an excellent location except for its rather difficult accessibility.

The spaciousness of the apartment especially the bathroom which has been very well upgraded, considering it was inside the old city and the convenience due to its proximity to all the shops

Too far away from the two main (Pile' and the Ploce') Gates of the old city. Also the spiral stairs going up to the second level of the apartments were uneven with the height of some of the stairs not the same. The sensor lights sometimes come on after a short delay making the stairway accessibility difficult and not safe. The floorboards under the carpet in the hallway before the entry into the apartment have uneven (maybe broken) planks. The clothes washing machine and dryer provided are in the hallway for common use of the apartments' tenants. It will be much appreciated if the agents or owners can offer complimentary service of meeting the customers (tenants) at the gate (not for us) and helped carry the luggage up and down the stairs (offered complimentary for us on arrival but not on departure) but finding the apartment was rather difficult until we made contact with agents who then came to find us inside the city. Compared to the same type of apartments in Split, at which the agent came and met us at the taxi stand and helped us push/carry the heavy luggage all the way and also up the steps to the apartment on the same level (second floor) complimentary without charge both for our arrival and departure - which was excellent and very welcoming.

Communal laundry facilities, unhygienic entrance and stairs, noisy guests

The apartment itself was clean and as described - but there were a few niggles that made our stay less than anticipated. The washing machine is communal - there is no indication of that in the listing and it was inconvenient to have to take our laundry to another area, outside the apartment, only to find that the single machine was already in use. This happened more than once and was a problem as it can only be used during certain times of the day. No proper ironing board, only a small tabletop board for ironing sleeves, which was broken. I had to ask for a full size replacement which was provided the next day. The communal areas are disgusting. It's all very well having a sign outside the apartment stating that you are not responsible for the communal areas but in a building where you manage three of the five apartments I would expect better. The entranceway stank of urine, was full of junk, litter and dried leaves and the stairways were revolting. Would it really hurt to get the cleaning crew to at least hoover once a week, spray some air freshener around, and scrape the layers of filth from the wooden handrail? Paying a premium price for a property means that there are certain expectations, and not having to try and climb flights of stairs without touching anything isn't one of them. Also, and this isn't something that the company can really address, the noise from late night revellers every single night of our five night stay was appalling. People racing up and down the stairs and conversing at the tops of their voices as late/early as 0430. We were glad to leave to be able to get a decent night's sleep at our next destination, but I feel sorry for the permanent local residents here.

See above - the listing needs amending regarding the laundry facilities, and the communal areas need to be a lot more hygienic. They are currently a health hazard.

The entry lobby was dirty and unsecured. The stairs were dark, rickety and steep. O.K. if you are traveling light and want to cook, but not great if you simply desire an easy to reach flat.

Modern, centrally located apartment.

The apartment was in a fantastic location, central but still quiet. It was clean, modern and spacious with two big windows. Communication was quick and easy. Bed was comfortable as was the rest of the furniture. Air conditioning was good.

As mentioned in other reviews, the entrance hallway was very unpleasant. I know the company are not responsible for it but it really does take from the experience. The shower had great pressure but it was hard to figure out how much hot water was available. On our first night the hot water ran out mid shower and did not heat up for a long time…we figured less pressure made the water last longer. There were very few towels and they were not replaced. A few extra bits in the kitchen would have been nice…a couple of tea towels, some oil..

Perfect for a city break!

The communication from booking to check out was fantastic. They organised a taxi to pick us up from the airport, and we felt so welcomed when we arrived to check in at the reception. The reception is just around the corner from the apartment but was super easy to find and directions were clear. The apartment itself was spacious and modern, and the shower was fantastic. The location is perfect for a city break and it’s very central. We had such a lovely time and would recommend these apartments to anyone thinking of going!

The apartment itself was excellent in the middle of the old city. Also able to swim off the rocks below the city walls

Great location, clean and functional

The location was great

Nothing particular, although the hot water taps were a little temperamental from both bathroom and kitchen (we could not get any in the evening). The shower was fine.

Great location, very close to the main square, restaurants and museums. The apartment is very comfortable and has a lot of natural light. The street is quiet. It is a great place to stay in Old Town.

the entrance is a little scary and the door was constantly open which made us feel unsafe. I think the towels should also be cleaned every two days rather than 3 and same with the bedding as it gets very dirty and damp in there.

It was challenging to find it. Reception staff are in and out all day so important to call to inform them that you are there.
