It was serene and quiet. We liked that we could make fire in the evening. After a day's hike we jumped into the indoor swimming pool and then sat at the terrace, sometimes talking to the other guests or just enjoying the late afternoon. The area is very popular for biking, we were the only ones without bikes. There are a lot of interesting places just a short drive away, such as Theresa Valley close to Nove Hrady. But it does not feel "too" touristy, unless you go to Trebon or Cesky Krumlov. We also went fishing to one of the ponds in the neighborhood, the owner arranged a permit for us.

There was no restaurant in the neighborhood, but we did not mind much. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a shared kitchen downstairs if needed. Mosquito's came at sunset, but with a good repellent it was doable.

Large home in a lovely setting surrounded by beautiful nature with an easy access to Cesky Krumlov, Trebon or even Linz, Austria. The property is well kept, super clean and very comfortable with self-catering amenities to make the stay here enjoyable. Wonderful and friendly owners. Highly recommended.
