This 1708 sq. ft. home is surrounded by trees, rock landscape and decking. Your getaway also includes a kids’ playhouse, fire pit, 2 outdoor cooking stations and an outdoor dining area. You’ll have everything you need to kick back and relax. A short drive to High Point Marina, Tanglewood Golf Course and more! Hillside Hacienda is a family friendly property designed to accommodate small or large groups. We are also pet friendly! Fee applies. Additional accommodations are available at our other property. Up to 12 guests, at Sea Dog's Fish Camp and Tavern, a few miles away.

It was perfect. everything you could possibly think of was available. the neighborhood was beautiful, very steep hills, some tough walking, but needed with all the food we ate this weekend. the deck in the back was very nice, they have a fenced yard for my son's dog with a deposit, but worth it not having to board him. Thank you!

Our Thanksgiving get away this year was absolutly breath taking!! The home was beautiful and accommodated not only the 6 of us that stayed there but also the family that visited for the day. I would absolutly stay again!!

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! We stayed for a weekend as a surprise birthday gift to my husband, and it did not disappoint! we surprised him with his family coming down and a fishing trip, and there was room for all of us and then some. It was so clean, fully stocked, and the beds were super comfortable. Personally, I thought the listing undersold the cabin, as it was so obvious Chelsey put so much thought into those who were staying! We had so much fun sitting on the back deck at night and being with family! The house was equipped with everything and then some, and the area couldn’t be beat! Everyone was constantly commenting something positive about the cabin, from the comfy beds, to the quiet neighborhood, and the ease of having SO many spices and kitchen utensils made it so easy and fun for us to diversify the striper fish the boys caught while on a guided fishing trip. We cannot say enough positive things about this place, and will be back! Thank you Chelsey and family!

We had a great experience in this home. Fully stocked and a short drive to the Lake. We are a family of three with dogs and found this the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Our dogs loved exploring the backyard and I could relax knowing the backyard was fully fenced without a chance of escape. I would definitely recommend a staycation at this home.

The host provides everything and even more, including plastic storage containers to take food home, foil cooking pans, and a nice ceramic dish for turkey for our Thanksgiving celebration. ( The only thing we missed were comforters, we could only find 2) Location can't be beat, in the middle of the woods in a hilly area, which is so unusual for Texas. The kids had a blast playing in a tree house. The dog enjoyed the enclosed outside area. I highly recommend this VR!

Great cabin.
This place was great. Its stocked with everything you need for a weekend get away and the hosts were very kind even leaving a birthday cake for me and my friends, which was our reason for the trip. Great place.

This house is overstocked. We’re from Louisiana and brought a gumbo pot and black iron skillet. The kitchen was a dream to cook in. Brought my mixer and made cookies with the kids. Other than those things we had everything we needed. We had four kids as guests for a few nights and stored a lot of the decorative items so that they were not in their reach. This property was so nice that I wish we would have had better weather and more time with just my husband and I to sit outside and enjoy the property. My son with autism was with us and he was great with the internet. We highly recommend this property!

Thanksgiving Getaway
My family decided to get away for a few days and spend Thanksgiving together and came across this listing. This house was amazing and everything we could have imagined and more. Very clean and fully stocked with things you didn't even know you needed! We really enjoyed unplugging and playing board games every night(they have a ton of options!). The owners knew we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner and left us plenty of pots and pans, brand new food containers for leftovers, and adorable fall décor. The back patio was a favorite place to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. We had 2 medium sized dogs with us and we were never worried about them because this house was so pet friendly. Eisenhower State Park is only about 15 minutes away and had some beautiful hiking trails that we really enjoyed. The neighborhood is beautiful and even though there are neighbors, it was very quiet and peaceful. We had a blast and would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything Kerry and Chelsey!

We had a fantastic time with our grandchildren. This is a wonderful cabin. It had everything we needed and more. It was very clean and presentable. Kerry has done an amazing job with this property. Great way to get away and quarantine with the family
We needed a getaway from all the quarantine and isolation and the cabin was a great way to do so with the family. We enjoyed walking around outside, campfires, enjoying the lake, and the kids loved that they had their own playhouse. It was much needed. The cabin was fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking and campfires.

Wonderful attention to detail and great assistance with everything
We had such a relaxing time at this property. Everything was extremely clean and well kept and there were so many accommodations. Fully stocked kitchen with every utensil and dish you made need. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Also, the owners are very attentive to anything you may need or encounter. The A/C froze up and they immediately drove out a whole hour from where they were to fix it. We headed out to the lake and when we got back it was nice and cool! A wonderful place to stay. Great to be able to relax and know that if anything happens it will be tended to immediately.
We’ll be coming back for sure!
