Inglewood House is a really interesting old house with many original features. The room was really comfortable and everything was really clean. Although the breakfast was provided to eat in the room to be Covid safe, a wide range of delicious food was provided including some lovely homemade cake and frittata. A fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster was available and plenty of teas, coffee and milk were provided. The host was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful local area and we visited The Forest of Dean, Tintern Abbey and Monmouth. I would recommend a stay at Inglewood House and will stay again when I visit the area.

Siobhan was the perfect host, always making sure we had delicious, filling breakfasts despite the dining room being closed when we stayed. We were also supplied with some wonderful homemade cakes and really helpful advice on places to visit and eat out. I wouldn't hesitate to book Inglewood House again if we were in the area.

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend here - the room was comfortable and luxurious, with a lovely bath and very comfy bed. The breakfast was wonderful and the glass of port very welcome. Everything was scrupulously clean and the property's Covid measures were thorough without being intrusive meaning we felt very safe. The property is very well situated with nice views, close to two pubs and nice walking. Siobhan and Michael went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after us very well. Simply perfect.

Really nice freshly prepared breakfast available in room. Location was perfect for walking. Close to Monmouth. Lovely garden.

Excellent room & breakfast

Location is excellent. Bedroom (Green Room) overlooks the River Wye. External private bathroom worked well with good shower. Siobhan looked after us really well making sure that despite Covid restrictions closing her breakfast room that we were fully stocked each morning for breakfast in our room. House is a quirky old mixture with pleasant gardens that guests can use. Easy to get out into countryside with walks along the river right from the door.

Due to Covid regulations there was a small refrigerator in our room that was fully stocked with everything for breakfast, with very generous fresh fruit and frittata added daily. Quiet and relaxing stay

Due to Covid the breakfast room was still closed but Siobhan made sure we had more than enough for our breakfast in the area outside our room.

A great welcome and we were well looked after, despite Covid restriction. Would certainly stay here again if visiting the area.

An interesting quirky house. Due to COVID restrictions we couldn’t use the lounge area that is usually available or join the other quests in the dining room, which would have been nice, but the owner couldn’t have done more to make us comfortable and the alternative arrangements worked well. Our room was big enough to house a small fridge, two chairs and a table. Another nice feature about the property is the outside seating, including a nice seating area under a gazebo.

I liked it all but some people may find the steep slope to the front door and additional few steps into the house tricky if they had mobility issues. Twisty stairs inside, historic and interesting but could be difficult for some.

The host, Siobhán, was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spotless and Siobhán provided a great selection of food for breakfast.

Siobhan went above and beyond to make our last-minute stay so comfortable. She was highly attentive, provided us with a gorgeous breakfast plus cookies for the children & gave us great advice about the local area. The location looks out onto trees and a river, so idyllic. The garden was beautifully kept and had a nice outdoor area too. It was like a home from home - thanks so much!
