We only stayed for one night but wished it was longer! Brigitte was so welcoming. She gave us a recommendation for dinne
It was an absolutely beautiful setting with lots of space for our kids to run around the garden after a long day in the car. The swimming pool was also fantastic!

Quiet, comfortable, a true French rural experience
Madame Brigitte was really welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our overnight stay as comfortable and easy as possible. The building dates back to the 1600s and it is so picturesque and well kept. She prepared a simple meal for us when we arrived - all made from vegetables from the garden. We really didn’t expect anything like this. It is STUNNING. Lovely clean pool and acres of garden to roam around. We will definitely be back on our next trip to France.

The congenialty of the hosts. Always ready to impart their local knowledge. Also we had car problems and they helped tremendously by suggesting the local garage and also took interest in it’s progression.

A wonderful welcome awaits at this peaceful and charming chambre d'hote.
An absolute gem of a find in the countryside outside Niort. We were travelling north from the Dordogne and only stayed a night but would definitely stay here for longer. Brigitte was a wonderful host and the breakfast was fantastic. An idyllic place to stay!

This is what B&Bs are supppsed to be!
Exceptionally clean, 5 star hotel standard. Linen even looked brand new. Wonderful family rooms, plenty of space, and great layout. Outside is perfect for kids, slides and a playground, pool and loads of flat green fields for them to run around. We felt safe enough to let the kids roam free. Breakfast was simply beautiful- the owners have great taste and the dining room has incredible old world charm in its decoration but the bonus of new world technology and comforts. There isnt anything that is not on offer for breakfast! And the owners are super warm and friendly and really seem to care, checking in to be sure you have everything you need. Anyway, this place really impressed us. This is what the industry should be like everywhere! Perfect. Thank you !
