Lovely country setting with a view across the bay. Tea, milk , muffins and fresh eggs provided. Nicely decorated with homely touches.

An ensuite upstairs would greatly enhance the property. Everything else was fine. In

Carmel was an excellent host, she provided all information for this self catering stay and had even left out muffins on my arrival. There was also milk in the fridge and tea & cereal for the morning. The bed was so comfortable aswell.

Ferry View is a quaint beautiful cottage in the perfect location over looking Broad Haven Bay. The bed was the most comfortable I’d slept in. The shower looks small but wow, the water pressure was better than any hotel. The Wi-Fi top notch.. and the host Carmel renting property was so accommodating. I had the best hens eggs gifted from the host, Carmel, freshly laid that day!! Another 10/10 was the cleanliness, everything is provided for you and every utensil/ cup/ pot was the highest standard of clean. I have stayed in apartments abroad and elsewhere but I would gladly return for a winter hideaway and a fresh beach walk which is also a stone’s throw away! Also upstairs was a little seated area with a bookcase with books to sit and enjoy. I could not find any fault but only praise on the standard and lovely feeling of in a quaint cottage. I would recommend this wonderful cottage and photos do not do it justice. For me, there was a feeling of content staying there which I took home

Everything! The cottage was perfect for my (working) needs and, on arrival, my host, Carmel, presented me with six fresh eggs, courtesy of her hens, freely roaming the grounds!

Nothing really... maybe the shower. It was an electric one but, really, it was fine for my needs. But a family might want/expect something a little larger and more jump to date.

A gem in a great location in Belmullet, very spacious with everything you could possibly need for your stay provided. Carmel is a dote & couldn't do enough to make my trip perfect.

The location was great for sampling lakes in Mayo. It was a really pretty location, a huge room with plenty of space. The hot water worked. Had a kettle and milk for tea. The highlight definitely being the muffins provided by the host.

It was a touch cold. I couldn’t figure out how to work the radiators but that is most likely on me. Also the place was a bit difficult to find, it did not appear on Google Maps. It would definitely help if the address or the Eircode could be listed on the website to make navigation to the location easier.

Carmel was an excellent host. The cottage had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. The buns and tea/coffee on arrival were very nice touch. Would have liked to stay longer. I highly recommend this property.

We had a fantastic stay at Ferry View Cottage, we had the complete house to ourselves. Its located in the town , has ample parking space and exceptional view overlooking the ocean. The house and surroundings were absolutely clean and tidy. Its a well maintained and thoughtfully looked after place in terms of details at every nook and corner. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary cookware , cereal , milk , tea coffee, muffins etc. The house has proper laundry room . Carmel was very helpful from the point of booking. She gave all the required details in advance. On our arrival she explained the area in absolute detail . She gave us information about the town, surrounding areas and places to visit, places to eat and gave us many helpful leaflets and maps. Overall it ticks all box’s for a comfortable long or short stay. Our stay was well beyond our expectation. Would certainly recommend this place if you are looking to book.
