EXTREMELY clean and kept clean my entire stay. It was quiet, but social enough that I was able to meet people to do things with. There were small snacks available in the kitchen (bananas and crackers) as well as water. The location is incredible, super central and walkable to anything in Old City for the most part. Right by the Sunday market, which was amazing. The body soap in the showers smelled amazing too which was a plus. Good water pressure and hot water. Staff was also friendly and helpful. AC in the room worked great.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable; the shower had good pressure and hot water. There's also an on-site self-serve washer and dryer, which can be very helpful for long-term travelers. And the location could not be any better! I've stayed here twice already and would highly recommend it to any one passing through Chiang Mai!
There's no smoking on or even outside the property, and many signs on the street where the property is located have no-smoking signs. It can be a bit inconvenient if you're a smoker.

Everything! This is my second time coming to Green Sleep and of course it was great. I was greeted with a smile not only on arrival but every time me and my partner came into the hostel. We were asked about our day, there was always breakfast and a snack available. The cleaners were so lovely and very thorough with there cleans! 10/10 stay - I recommend this place so highly! It's also a great hostel for activity pick ups and you're in the old city ☺️

The best thing about this hostel is the staff- Chacha and Kate are so lovely! They are always happy to chat and have great recommendations for the city. The dorms themselves are comfy and breakfast is nice (toast, jam, watermelon, bananas). There is a storage room you can leave your luggage. It’s also in a great location for exploring the city.
There are no curtains on the doors of the dorms which means the light from the hallway comes through.
