The location

One of the windows did not close. Also you can hear other people in other rooms (not loud but still). Also when they move just outside the door.

Great location!

The room had a broken air conditioner and the room was hot and humid and the owner (wife) asked me to stay there with a fan until they could fix the air conditioner, with no offer of a discount. The other owner (husband) was a bully and made me uncomfortable and I felt unsafe. He raised his voice at me in the room. I said nothing back and went quiet because I don’t want problems with locals. I wanted to stay elsewhere at that point for safety reasons, as I was alone and don't want the risk an angry Thai man who is a local, and a business owner returning. I had to stay there after being shouted at and worry about the owners anger, or leave with no refund and pay for another hotel. I asked for a refund and was told not possible. Not recommended for people traveling alone as any problems with the property risk angering the man who appears to be the owner (he came in a car with the female owner, I'm guessing they both own the place). The man does not know how to talk to adults. I would consider staying there again due to the location, if not for the man with the hot temper who shouted the air conditioner was cold and demanded I accept it, when the air conditioner was CLEARLY broken, and the staff there also told him MANY times it was not cold. He knew it was broken and demanded I accept it by raising his voice. It's not only bullying, it's dishonest to lie and say it is working as a way to intimidate and force me to accept. The female owner, after nearly an hour of waiting, gave me another room with a functioning air conditioner. She was calm, respectful and in problem solving mode, but the man there does not know how to to talk to adults with respect and was only complaining the repair would cost him 600 Baht.
