About this condo rental
Located in Salida, this lovely condo for $171 per night is a great option for your next break. Situated midway between Rainbow Boulevard (HWY 50) and downtown, this condo is perfect for enjoying the town of Salida or making an easy getaway in any direction for the day’s adventure. Our home is within walking or biking distance to historic downtown but far enough away for quiet evenings and easy parking. Built in 2006, the condo is a modern, comfortable get-away for relaxing with family and friends. The house has three upstairs bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The house is decorated and fully equipped to make this vacation home a real home away from home. With shade trees, gardens, and a small yard this condo has a peaceful ambiance that can be enjoyed from the front porch or the patio off the kitchen. The Arkansas river, minutes away, presents excellent fly fishing, rafting, and kayaking opportunities. Access to a wide variety of ecosystems on BLM and National Forest land provide hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and many other activities. Zip lines and train rides complement summer fun activities. Monarch Mountain ski area is a mere 25 minutes away. Discount ski tickets can be purchased on the Ski Monarch website. Summer or winter, Salida has much to offer. After a full day of playing outdoors come home and relax. If you still have energy it’s a short trip to the hot springs pool and the recreation center. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs in close proximity. Our family of four enjoyed a comfortable retreat in Salida and had everything we needed and more! The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare our own low key Thanksgiving meal. We were warm and cozy despite the snowfall and frigid temperatures outside. The location was central to all of the day trips we wanted to take. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and functional place within 5-7 minutes of all that Salida has to offer. Supplied nicely and almost a brand new place. I didn’t get to meet the owners but my friends did because they let them in due to my travel plans getting disruoted

The house was very well stocked and organized. It was clean and inviting. We were comfortably able to cook large meals and relax as a family after days full of hiking, exploring the Arkansas River and checking out the shops and restaurants in town. We walked most places we needed to go for groceries or recreation, but the location allowed us to make quick car trips as well.
We were very pleased with the property and would stay here again on our next trip to Salida!

We were extremely impressed by this property. It was even better than pictured on the website. The property was within wslking distance of the downtown area, yet it was in a quiet neighbourhood.
We were staying in Salida to attend a memorial and did a lot of cooking for the extended family. The kitchen was very well equipped and the indoor and outdoor dining areas were accomodating and comfortable. The laundry facilities were a very useful addition.
We rented bikes and were able to store them in the garage.
We appreciated that there were instructions for use of items in the home, yet they were unobtrusive.
We also liked our hosts who were responsive and knowledgeable.
We couldn't have had a better stay and we would unconditionally recommend this property to others.

This property was perfect for my family and very clean! While not close enough to walk to downtown Salida for my little ones, it was a quick drive. Very easy to get on the main road as well, which was important for us to get to a wedding and to be able to see the surrounding area. Absolutely wonderful experience!!!

As we pulled up to this lovely condo we were greeted by deer roaming through the neighborhood. Plenty of room for 4 of us - never felt like we were on top of each other. Great, well-stocked kitchen and nice big dining table. Nice master bedroom and bath with walk in closet (bigger closet than I have at home.) Beds we're very comfortable. Other bedrooms we're good size and had a full bath with laundry to share. Very tastefully decorated, with a cozy vibe. Enjoyed having a gas fireplace that really warmed up the living room. Large TV with Amazon Fire Stick so had plenty of options for entertainment. (Appreciated the owner helping us figure out an issue with the television.) Came to ski at Monarch and this was well located for that. A bit of a walk to the downtown district, but still doable. Very quick and easy drive to downtown. Shorter walk to the Hot Springs Aquatic Center. Nice neighborhood, never heard the folks in the condo next door. Loved having a garage we could park in. Would definitely try to get this place again.

Property exactly as described, host was friendly and communicative. Host personally made certain all questions were answered and helped to make our trip a pleasant one. Having the fully stocked kitchen and an in house laundry facility really made our trip easier. Our next trip to Salida will definitely prioritize booking this rental first.
