Excellent location with great views. Spacious apartment with clean rooms. Plenty of hot water, well proportioned and ventilated shower room and bathroom. Apartment located in a safe area with secure access arrangement. Gdansk surprised us, modern, nice people and restaurants, great place for a weekend break.

It was not the apartment we reserved!! Our booking was for Szafarnia 6/25 but for some reason which was not explained to us, we were given another apartment, Szafarnia 6/16. Compared to the photos for 6/25 seen on the Booking.com website, the furnishings, seating and dining facilities in 6/16 were more basic, i.e. the living area comprised of only a single 3 seater sofa. For 6/25 the booking.com website showed photographs footstools, a coffee table and 2 sofas which our group of adults really required. It did have a pool table which took up half the living area space which might have suited groups with kids, but would have been better filled with comfortable seating and some furniture for our group of adults - 6/25 appeared to have all this. Despite this the apartment did have redeeming features mentioned in the "What did you like" section.

The heater in the second bathroom with the shower didn’t work. The bulbs over the stove were not working and the owner did not resolve my issue. The was no paper towel I. kitchen, not one water, o coffees whatsoever. All lights were very dim. Very impersonal!!!!

the fact that you don’t meet the host, can be great if you get the whole details in advanced. They didn’t send us the code for the door and didn’t answer for more than an hour. we were freezing out side the door with 2 old people!! Additionally the wifi is so poor!!! and they didn’t answer to our calls!! Today when we left, we met outside 3 people that just arrived with the same problem!!!

The front room/living room area is massive, so big it has a pool table. You can easily relax in there. Everything was very clean. The only reason I have not done an excellent for the staff was because we didn't meet anyone. They send you a message to get into the apartment. Makes it very easy if you are arriving at strange times. Below the apartment are two restaurants (ritz - more of a foodies establishment, and bazar), also very close is the maritime museum, and 3 small shops. Zorba restaurant is also close. In summer there should be a ferry across the motlawa. Strangely a taxi from the airport will cost about 90 zloty, but on the way back cost 48 zloty (but Veronica at Zorba arranged that for us) Anyway great place to stay.

Unfortunately at the time of year we went there was no ferry across the motlawa, and the bridge was a temporary one. For the apartment, two of the double beds were single beds pushed together but not attached. But this no way affected our stay, or appreciation of the apartment.

It’s a very large, bright, property with views over the water. 3 twin rooms with balconies off 2 rooms, so you can enjoy a coffee in the morning. it’s very central and in a very safe complex.

The location just perfect with great view from the living room of the old historic city centre. The kids loved the pool table which was a surprise as was not in the photos on booking but hours spent playing. We stayed last year at 11 Szarfarnia and could not see the centre very well, we now know where to book next time. The apartment was very spacious and clean and parking was very convenient. Towels and soap was very welcome, thank you.

The pool cues need some refurb with new tips, I understand why as a rental property. There were no shelves in the shower for shower soap, a small thing but something I remember.
