I could have sat on the veranda and watched the weather go by all day every day
There weren’t any catering facilities available and the recommendation to go to the yummy restaurant was not a very good one, Vietnam has so much great food but it was difficult to find a good place to eat in SaPa. I would recommend breakfast at Mountain View Coffee house- a few doors up hill on the same side as the Odyssey

The view is amazing when there are no clouds in the area. All the staff were very helpful. The bed was medium soft. There was a fan in the room. There was housekeeping every day. The bathroom is a wet room which is common in SEA. There was a clean kettle and water provided. Toiletries like shampoo, toothbrush, etc also provided. It's about a 15 minute walk to the town center. Plenty of restaurants, massage places, and mini-marts nearby. I really enjoyed Yummy Restaurant about a 5 minute walk away. I am a slow traveler, and I liked the place so much I booked an extra week. The reception staff speak English. Highly recommend.
Things to be aware of: I had room 102 which has a better view. When the clouds weren't out, I had a decent view of the valley from my bed or settee. The rooms on either side had an obstructed view, although a beautiful terrace is very close which looks over the valley, rice fields, and mountains. There is no a/c or heater, but a fan was provided. I was there at a time when I didn't need the a/c or heater. The room can get very damp, especially when it rains. A dehumidifier would be a great addition.
