Ideal for a city visit , much better than the last time we stayed here.

Nice apartment, good location on a quiet street well equipped.

The heater in the bathroom still doesn't work and there is a fuse in the fuse box that still makes a load humming sound which you can hear when in bed.

Prima scoperta di Bordeaux

Arredo, letti comodi, pulizia, posizione, silenzio. Zona molto sicura anche se poco frequentata in stagione invernale.

Costo di noleggio biancheria e pulizia aggiuntivo alla tariffa scritto nelle condizioni. In bagno non funzionava il calorifero ma c'era una stufetta a disposizione che ha risolto il problema. Porta del bagno a vetro che non permetteva giusta privacy. Appartamento poco luminoso (mini vacanza invernale).

Good located but bad attention

The location is excellent, in the middle of the city center. It is also fairly well equipped for cooking.

They make you pay a “cleaning fee” that is not well advertised when you book - and WORST it’s not fully clean.Some dishes on the shelf were dirty. The light on top of the table didn’t work either. The attention of the host is very poor, they just give you the key and then disappear, Wifi didn’t work, they give you the wrong network and password and we complained several times and they didn’t answer, they gave us the correct one only 10 before checking out. They didn’t leave toilet paper, dishwasher pills nor kitchen paper either.

Burdeaux

Hello, The apartment is perfectly located in Bordeaux city center and the place is awesome, great bathroom, bedroom and living room area. It also has a lovely balcony.

Regarding the comunication for the stay we had plenty of misunderstandings like it did not include cleaning, towels or bed clothing, but that we had to pay an extra 49€ for that service. It would be great it is made clear since the beginning. Also, we were not allowed to enter the apartment until 16h and were given no solution to leave the luggage until then, and the same the day of the check-out, when we had to leave at 10:30AM and weren't helped out with where to leave luggage as we had a full day before our flight (nannybag app was our solution, given by a shop worker of Burdeaux city center, highly reccommended!) Finally, we managed to get into the apartment at 13:30h (earlier than expected) but were only given one shower gel small tube for 3 people 3 days. Also, regarding communication for the check-in, we were contacted through SMS and were asked to reply through SMS that costs money, instead of speaking through WhatsApp (which we found later on the number had the app available and we could have has free cost communications). We didn't feel very welcome despite the quality of the apartment, which does correspond to what It promises (although it's quite cold) and we found out information little by little instead of a clear message from the beginning when asking to renta it regarding caution and extra fees from cleaning. Hope they make communications clearer and more accesible in the future. Thank you! Best.

The location and the styling of the apartment.

49€ extra for the cleaning was not communicated. The payment links for the deposit were sent very late (3 days in advance) and we were travelling and expected to pay on arrival, but we were not let in and had to stand on the street to handle it. 2 of 4 chairs were broken and some lamps not working.

Location is perfect in the heart of city center, but manager is not.

Location, in the heart of city center. Easy access. Checkin was very smooth and earlier than expected. Nice modern apartment.

Manager claimed: 1. airco remote control left in another place compared to the checkin--> weird claim 2. trash bins are not empty --> it's not true 3. left dirty dishes. Two chair were broken.

The host accommodated us and we could put our luggage in the apartment 4 hours before check in. The apartment was well equipped - everything needed was available. Great location - city center.

Difficult communication - the host representative who handed us the keys communicated only in French. We had to translate everything using google translator. On the third day of the stay, the host contacted us with the information that we did not pay the deposit and if I do not pay immediately, he will come for the keys. Today it is almost 1 week from our stay and the deposit is still not refunded. The host stopped communicating. Quite a lot of equipment in the apartment did not work or was broken (lights, the sofa could not sit as worn, everything was heard from the other partmans (paper walls), ....)

Extra charges & non-welcoming host

The location was very good, right in the heart of Bordeaux.

The owner was not friendly and kept sending us instructions by WhatsApp and SMS. We strongly believe that we were charged double the price of the accomodation (price changed after filling in the credit card details). Later on and right before arriving, we were asked a 49€ fee if we wanted bed sheets and cleaning! None of this was mentioned on booking.com. There was no natural light in the apartment: had to turn on the light even during day time.

great location

great location - two out door terraces that would be lovely given the right weather. kitchen functional enough - basics provided - you need to buy your own spices/oil/......always bugs me that those are not included given it has a kitchen. no tea pot and only the nessepresso type machine to make coffee - no french press? the room is large enough, so you don't feel cramped, big bathroom with "italian" shower - open - no doors.Main bedroom very comfortable and large bed.

the pull out couch was a disaster- not comfortable to sit on because it did not close properly and all the pillows slipped off. when we pulled it out for sleeping a component stuck out and would not go flat- we were instructed to put it back and try again- which we did three times...... so kinda lumpy/bump in the end of the bed- I'm small and slept alone so managed. I fell on the ground while sitting on one of the dining room chairs because it broke! thank goodness it wasn't my 75 year old aunt - we checked all the chairs they have missing screws - so not secure. Lighting in the kitchen underneath the cupboards does not work? so hard to see what you're doing.

Not a very nice place everything was a bit badly done ie. taps in kitchen bathroom fittings loose.

Location was the only good thong about this property.

The smell of smoke from the front door and through out the apartment even the clean pillows smelt of smoke. Heating didn't work apart from a plug in electric heater and it was cold in Bordeaux just then.

Good

Great location, lovely quite street with lots of small shops.

The apartment wasn’t very clean , it only had 2 coffee mugs for 4 people so i bought 1 for myself , also only 3 win glasses so i bought some wine glasses as well ,none of the heaters worked so it was a little cold luckily the weather wasn’t to bad, and a fuse in the fuse box made a annoying buzzing noise , the apartment is for sale so i think they aren’t to bothered.
