Location is optimal, close to Portoferraio, supermarket and beautiful beaches on northern side of the island. Nice view, big terrace with summer kitchen, though the outer sink was not really clean. Great big grill and round table outside. Windows has mosquito nets and repelents are in the house. Kitchen is big, refrigerator is big with freezer. You have your own backyard and access with parking place. Very suitable for dogs, additional charge 20€. Some kitchen supplies were already there: s&p, oil, sugar, honey.

Gas oven for water heating was switched off but we manage somehow to turn it on. At the moment of check in we didn't read the agency rule to immediately report problems with cleanliness (separately written), otherwise are not taken in account. Cleanliness in general was lacking, kitchenware and owen were dirty (dry pasta in the pot, cups dirty brown edge, ...), everything to be washed, trash can and closets dirty as well (fruit residues still in it). Cabinets and closets were useless as were not clean nor ventilated and stink on mold. Edge of bathtub was also partly covered with mold and should be cleaned. Owner was not very generous with essential information at arrival, we had to additionally ask how to open property gate, about waste handeling (quite complicated with door to door collection). Instead we were promptly prohibited to feed some skinny stray cats coming to the house. We were asked to leave apartment quite early, at 9AM, and at our request to extend to 10AM, the agency agreed, while later the owner denied and only at last agreed with hesitation till 9.30AM in spite there were no incoming guests. Stairs to upper floor are quite funny and steep. Very inconvenient to have specific working hours to contact the agency, which is the official booking contact number. Be aware to immediately read (nobody tells you) all the papers agency gives you at arrival, since contain strict rules and information about many possible additional charges, although at the moment of check in results quite annoying and inconvenient as well.
