Location is everything in Santorini!
After visiting both Oia and Fira, I honestly think staying at Red Stone Villa is the better choice. It’s only a 5-minute drive from Oia, so you can easily go into Oia or Fira during the day by car or bus, explore, have lunch, and then come back to the peace and privacy of the villa.
During the day, Oia and Fira can become incredibly crowded, with buses bringing in hundreds of tourists. Staying at Red Stone Villa means you can enjoy the best of Santorini without having to stay in the middle of all that chaos. You still have the incredible panoramic views, but you also have a beautiful, secluded property with a gorgeous pool, wonderful facilities, comfort, and—most importantly—peace and quiet.
The hospitality was exceptional. Everything was absolutely spotless, and the villa genuinely felt like a 5-star hotel—and I’ve stayed in many around the world.
What surprised me most was the care and attention from the owners. They are an incredible team and clearly put their heart into what they do. And their restaurant is insanely good!
My advice: don’t waste your money staying in the busiest tourist areas. Stay at Red Stone Villa and use it as your base to explore Oia and Fira during the day. Then come back, relax by the pool, enjoy the views, have an incredible meal, and escape the crowds. It’s the best of both worlds.

Everything was amazing. The room was so pretty and cozy, comfortable. Markos was so kind and even checked us remotely by message and gave us good tip for the stay. The best of best part was the view- not only the balcony gave us the beautiful sea view, but also from the roof top we could see the full sun set and it was exceptionally amazing.

Everything was fantastic. The room, the view, the service, the pool. Quiet. Sublime. Bery attentive hosts are looking after your every wish. Cant recommend enough.
