Our most memorable stay in all our travels. Everything from room to amenities to services rendered is exceptional!

The room offered to us really ‘wowed’ us the minute they opened the door. It was so beautifully decorated and the layout and amenities were carefully thought out. It just felt so romantic. This B&B is located right in the centre of the Historical area with many restaurants and cafes. Hosts Francesco and Sara have gone way and beyond their services that was rendered to us. When we arrived in the rain, they were already waiting for us with umbrellas and helped us carry our luggages to our room. They provided a bottle of Prosecco, so many bottles of water, canned drinks , a basketful of walnuts and another basketful of tomatoes, zucchini and a big bunch of bananas in the room and all these are free. Everyday they would take note of what we like to eat for breakfast and they will deliver it to our room the next morning and it’s always more than what we have asked for. On the day of our checkout, they came to help us carry our luggages, drove us to the train station, checked with the train staff regarding our tickets and even help us to load our luggages onto the train. When we arrived at our next destination, they even WhatsApp us whether we have any issues with our train ticket and if we have arrived safely. Their warm hospitality and passion towards their quests is simply exceptional! According to both of them, they like to spoil their guests and they are very passionate about their job. They make us feel like being part of their family. We already missed Francesco and Sara!

We had the best time in Martina Franca and we were delighted with this bnb - a total treat.

The property was lovely - it felt very typical of the area, but the space was cleverly designed to provide all you need in a smaller square footage. Francesco and Sara were very generous with their time, communication and delicious breakfasts. It’s a lovely part of the world and I would recommend anyone to stay here - we had an amazing time.

Superb

The room is beautiful with unique decor. Very well located! Unexpected welcome treats and very generous and tasty breakfast. Great hosts.

We were travelling with a 2 year old. When searching on booking for a place for two adults and a 2 year old, this place appeared. We asked for a crib for our 2 year old in advance and it was provided. However, the crib was for babies up to 6 months old, our child did not fit in it and we had to share the bed. This was uncomfortable, I could hardly sleep.

Cute little haven in the old town.

Warm friendly hosts, bounding with enthusiasm and care for their guests. Room was a cute little "cave" fully refitted with updated bathroom and great shower, double sinks and very nice fixtures. Good lighting throughout the facility, with a mini-split for cooling and in-floor heating. Very generous breakfast delivered to your room, with lots of choices (don't miss the local focaccia with tomatoes!).

Very very poor . Stay away

Just not a good value . Very very low quality . Specially for the price paid . You can barely stand and move your arms in the shower. The bed linen , towels etc very poor quality . This is a very basic property and the cost is too high. It was the worst we stayed at during our week long Puglia trip . Do yourself a favor. Find something in the countryside for a better price and quality .

An attractive and quirky apartment in the historic centre of Martina Franca, run by a generous host.

Francesco was an exceptional host. He was in contact in advance by WhatsApp and met us to show us where to park our car and carried our luggage to the b&b. This was in the heart of the old city and very convenient for visiting all the sights, restaurants and cafes. The breakfast was delivered at the time we chose and contained a range of delicious local delicacies. Nothing was too much trouble for Francesco.

Everything suited us- we especially liked it’s quirky character.

Highlight of my vacation in Puglia

My stay at Relais Santa Maria could not have been better! Upon arrival I was met by the lovely Francesco and Sara just outside the old town. They found a parking space and helped me with my luggage. A short walk led to my accommodation for the next two days. Spacious, super clean, comfortable and rustic in the best sense of the word. Martina Franca in august is rather touristic so it is very nice to be in a quiet street yet two steps away from the lively squares with tons of bars and restaurants. In the morning Sara brought me the best breakfast ever with everything the region is famous for. If you are searching for a place to stay in Martina Franca, look no further: go here!!!

Exceptional

Amazing place. You feel like your home. Francisco and Sarah made our stay special ❤️, in finding parking space, picking up, check in and out was smooth. Breakfast is so freshly delivered at doorstep every morning ( they ask you about your preferences the night before). Super convenient location to discover Martina Franca and neighbouring towns ( we had a rented car). We will definitely come back here. 6 out of 5 stars.

Elegant, kind and sweet

I loved the room and and the decor. It had a boutique feel about. Very elegant. I loved the breakfast and how they catered for my wishes. Pretty cool how they reliever it to your room. The kindness and hospitality of Francesco and Sara were so lovely. They know how to treat their guests with kind gestures. I am so glad I ended my trip with this B&B.

perfect stay in old city of Martina Franca

What a great way to stay in the old town, which is a must. Sara and Francesco met us at the edge of the old town (it was simple), led us to parking, carried our bags to the apartment and left us with champagne, treats and fruit. The town is wonderful. Many good restaurants within very short walk. Central square is wonderful. Great breakfast brought the next morning of anything we wanted (too much food!). The room, bath, A/C are all great.

Great stay in the old town of Martina Franca

Francesco and Sara were great hosts, very nice, and available at all times. They helped us to get a parking space five minutes away from the room. Room was beautiful and very clean. Great location in the old town. Breakfast was excellent, delivered to our door each morning. Would recommend !

Fantastic guest house

Perfect location in the historic centre. Francesco was also a wonderful host - arranging a great breakfast each day and ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. I really recommend staying here if visiting Martina Franca.

One of our favourite stays in Puglia

This is the second time we have stayed here and it definitely won’t be our last. We love it here so much. The accommodation is absolutely stunning, the hosts Francesco and Sara are wonderful and the breakfast was the best we’ve had in Puglia. Breakfast is delivered in the morning in a lovely basket full of local produce (you place your order on check in). The Relais Santa Maria and Martina Franca gold a special place in our hearts. A really unique stay!

A dreamy vacation spot!

A unique experience in the heart of beautiful Martina Franca! The owners, Francesco & Sarah, have created a dream-like haven with their rooms. Their level of service & attentiveness is beyond fantastic - we were greeted and met at the parking address (a 5 minute walk), helped with our luggage, and any question or need we had during the 3 day visit was met with in an efficient and caring way. They are to be commended! The room is like a romantic designer's dream - the photos are not able to show the real beauty and ambiance and the amount of effort put into converting an old space into an air-conditioned romantic haven. The breakfast was brought into our room each morning to our specification, the old and beautiful city center is a minute's walk, the quietness and the whole atmosphere were like a 3-day-long dream.... The room facilities were great too, from the coffee-machine (free coffee&tea), wifi, the glass-floor, the super-cool bathroom and fantastic bed. I travel a lot and can honestly state - this place is Super-recommended!
