Good deal in centro
This was my second stay here. You can see my August review for the deets. I'll just sum it up by saying it is a clean, nice apartment and building near Parque Central Tegucigalpa. It is cheaper than comparable apartments. The owner is very accommodating and helpful, and check in and check out is easily coordinated through whatsapp (or messaging ahead of time here through Booking). Very good wifi. A/C in the living and bedroom. Convenience store on the corner.
There are some minor things, but not bothersome enough to negate the quality of the stay. The balcony is really tiny. Standing room only. The bed is very hard but that's standard in Central America. The TV only has a few channels in Spanish. Traffic is really bad in this area, but that can be said about most of Tegucigalpa.

Quality budget stay in downtown
PROS: - This is a cozy little condo for 1 or 2 people. Clean, modern. I stayed here twice and would return again. - It is well located on a quiet side street, a 6min walk from the Central Plaza. - 24hr security guards. An electronic key card admits residents to the building. Tegucigalpa can be dangerous, but I felt safe here walking around by myself during the day, and after dark to nearby restaurants and stores. - The hostel across the street has a casual rooftop bar that is popular with locals if you wish to hang out somewhere close and meet a few Catrachos. - This 4th floor apt has a tiny balcony (standing room only), but nice view. There IS a small, slow elevator available. - The building's breezy large rooftop terrace has shaded patio furniture and nice views of the surrounding hills. - A coin-operated washer & dryer is in the laundromat room on the terrace. Buy tokens from the guard downstairs for 30 Lempira each. Each machine cycle takes 3 tokens. The guard explained how to use them (in Spanish). - The WiFi is strong and consistent. Flatscreen TVs in both living and bedroom, but programming is basic and all in Spanish. - Good A/C units with remote controls - one in the bedroom, one in the living area. A nice cross breeze flows through the apartment if you open the windows. - The owner, Oscar, is nice and accommodating. Easy check in & out. He even picked me up from the airport! He gave me a tour of the downtown plaza and recommended where to find a secure ATM (inside Centro Commercial Midence Soto) across the street from the Central Park / Plaza Morazan). - The apartment was very clean. The owner contacted me to ask when I'd like to schedule cleanings. - The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and everything was in working order. - The sofas were a little dingy, but comfortable. The bed was new, but hard, as is common in Central America. - The kitchen had some flatware, dishes, and cookware.
CONS: - I loved staying here, so the cons are really just small details. - The apartment is a little tricky to find because there is a hotel and a hostel with the same name nearby. If you take a taxi/Uber while you're there, tell your driver it's near Viera Hospital and in front of the Hostel La Ronda (across the street). - Thursday through Sunday nights, there is loud music in the neighborhood from the hostel and a bar, but the city still has a Covid Curfew of 10pm, so the music and noise ended shortly afterward. - The bathroom was a little small and the wall shelves were short. I had to keep taller toiletry bottles in the bedroom. There's no bathroom window for ventilation. - There's no street parking, but you can park in the garage across the street. It's something like 30 empires an hour or 120L for the day/overnight. The lot's gate closes at 5pm, but the guard at the condo can unlock it for you. - The kitchen could use some more utensils and a pair of scissors. This was definitely the best deal downtown. The building is nice, the condo is clean and sufficient, there is a convenience store on the corner, and a taco shop across the street. **The owner has another unit two doors down. It isn't listed here, but he offered me the choice of either apartment when I returned for another stay. If this unit is booked, contact the owner to inquire about the other. ** Side notes about staying downtown ** - Most small restaurants and eateries close at 5pm or 6pm daily, and almost everything is closed on Sundays, so plan accordingly. - Upscale, modern shopping malls and restaurants are NOT found in this area, but are a few miles away (just beyond walking distance). - There's a lot of traffic downtown, so expect some car and street noise during the day.

Not a bad place for long stays if you have time and make some effort to adjust it to your needs .
The Airconditioning system is quite and efficient The security and building administration personnel is very helpful The area is perhaps one of the last one in Tegus in which you can get a sense of ordinary people's life (but don't go out at night)
There is no table to work, and the whole living area is basically another bedroom in waiting (but this is a very common and depressing feature of most Airbnb facilities) so if you need to sit in front of a computer for few hours a day for work the apartment ends up being less functional than a hotel suite.
