Multi-generational family outing. The rooms and spaces in the house worked beautifully for us. Large kitchen gathering space is awesome. Molly communicated extremely well to our questions. Location is very convenient to town and area highlights. Would definitely return.

We were surprised how close we were to all of the Lake Placid attractions. Such a short walk to town, yet the neighborhood felt very quiet and tucked away. Very clean, and plenty of space for use to spread out. Hot tub was a fam favorite!

We had a good time exploring all the natural beauty in the area. The house was perfectly located 2 mins walking to downtown. Many excellent restaurant opportunities. Relaxing after the long day in the hot tub was nice. All in all a good time.

Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood we had all ages from seniors to grand children. The house was perfect with ample bedrooms and bunk room for kids. Perfectly equipped with games, hot tub and nice yard for lots to do when not touring Adirondack attractions. Great communications with owner and prompt attention to only issue!

Super easy to walk into town for shopping and meals and very close to mirror lake. The open floor plan is great for hanging out as a group and the bedrooms suited our needs well. Would definitely recommend. We will be back!

This was a great property for our family getaway for the Ironman race and some vacationing. This house was perfect for our family! Younger folks stayed in the bedroom downstairs and could watch TV/make noise and not bother us. Loved cooking in the huge kitchen! Clean, beautiful house.

Great Week In Lake Placid
Our visit to Lake Placid and surrounding areas was fabulous, in part due to our stay at the house. We came to the area to ski, ice skate, toboggan, and enjoy all the winter activities the Adirondacks have to offer. Proximity to town was a bonus, and the house was a great nest to come back to after busy days, as there was ample space for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents to rest, relax and play. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of clean linens and towels, and a well-stocked kitchen. Of all the vacation houses we've rented in the past, this one is the best outfitted! Well taken care of pots and pans, lots of tools for the practiced home-cook, and all the extra herbs and spices used for creating yummy home cooked meals. Truly felt at home making meals and spending quality time with family while resting from our busy outdoor days. The kids loved the bunk beds, and the game room and hot tub were awesome. Mary and the care taker were responsive and swiftly addressed the very few/minor issues we had.

What a great place to gather our family! Kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and gadgets we needed to make some delicious meals. We loved that there was a separate area downstairs to watch the games on Sunday. Saltwater spa and game room was definitely a plus. Host was very responsive. You can’t go wrong with a stay here.

Great house, great location
I have done a weekend trip to Lake Placid for several years now and continue to book this house every time. It is well-maintained and spacious, great for groups. The location is very close to Main street and about 20 minutes away from Whiteface. The hot tub is particularly nice after a ski day! In addition the owners are very nice and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well maintained and suited our group of 6 adults and 4 kids perfectly. The house is situated on a quiet block and just a short walk into the village of lake Placid. The home owner, Molly, was in regular communication with us throughout the reservation process and after check in to make sure the house met our expectations. Would definitely stay there again.

The screened in porch was PERFECT for hanging out in the evenings and on a few rainy afternoons.
The extra frig in the garage was much needed as feeding a large group daily required a lot of food. The garage had plenty of storage for our mountain bikes, golf bags, fishing gear and kayaks. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots and pans and appliances that made preparing meals so easy.
The beds were very comfy and the futon was used as an alternative bed to sleeping on a top bunk. There were plenty of towels for everyone and the house was spotlessly clean.
The house was in a prime location making it walking distance from town, mirror lake and no more than 10-30 minute drive away from hiking and biking trails, fishing, farmers markets, golfing, breweries and kayaking.
Molly, the owner was so great! She answered my numerous questions prior to our trip and was readily available to answer questions during our stay.
We had an incredible stay and were able to do so much in the area. We look forward to our next visit and will most definitely rent this home again.
