- Your safety matters. The property features 2 exterior security cameras: camera 1 is located on the front gate facing out and camera 2 is located on the other end of the property facing the well head. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. The cameras take photos when motion is detected
- Please be aware that bedroom 2 is part of the grand room. There are privacy screens for guests to set up; however, it is not a full bedroom
- The attached garage has a home-based business. Shipping and receiving minimal hours of the day
- There is a well-maintained 1.7-mile dirt road leading to the house
- A crib is available upon request. If you would like to request the crib, please reach out to the Guest Contact
- The house is built into the hillside and stays naturally cool. An evaporative cooler is also provided to help maintain a comfortable temperature

The host Sara is wonderful and incredibly responsive. The home is super cute and our family had a great time. We loved the goats they have next to the property too!

Lovely home tucked away in the mountains of Prescott. Home was fully stocked with anything you would need during your stay from kitchen appliances, utensils to ample towels and extra blankets. Sauna upstairs across from a huge claw foot tub with gorgeous views. The owner of the property was so kind and on the first day, leads you up to the house so that you don’t get lost going up the dirt road. 10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful views from the house. Great location to hiking areas and Prescott. Communication with Sara was easy and she was very responsive. House was clean and had everything we needed. The super cute silkies were a plus.

I was attending a weekend retreat on Mingus Mountain, but I did not want to stay in bunk beds with a 3 inch foam mattress with 7 other people in my room. This was the closest place to the Mingus Mountain Retreat, which made for a 20 minute drive down one part of Mingus Mountain and up another part.
I literally spent 3 waking hours there over Friday - Sunday rental. The rest of the time was sleeping.
What was important was a comfy bed. Yes, the bed was very comfy.
What was important was a clean/safe place. Yes, this was a clean and safe place.
What was important was good communication with the owner. Yes, this was excellent!
What was important was everything I needed (bed, chairs, blankets, soap, towels, ...) to enjoy my stay. Yes, it was all there.
What could have been better: I’m 6’2” and the upstairs only had a bathtub. The downstairs shower was tiny and the overhead shower spout did not make things convenient. Maybe a handheld wand would help there, but the space is very limited. I cannot imagine having 5 - 6 people here tryin to share this shower (daily need).
The layout leaves something to be desired if you are “friends” as there is only one bedroom. The other bed is in an open area on the way to the bathroom. The living area downstairs has a sofa bed. Not an issue for me, since I was alone in the house, but I’m pretty sure it would be an issue if I wanted to share accommodations for an extended time.
Overall, no regrets on picking/staying there. I just come way with a more realistic view of what it offered.
