You can walk a seven mile beach. The dead end street is ideal for children. Enjoy the quiet beach for exploring, fishing and boating. The cottage is just blocks away from the state park and is in walking distance to Camp Ellis known for its seafood, jetty and fishing pier. Want to step back in time? Travel two miles to Ocean Park and order an ice-cream at the soda fountain. Want Honky- Tonk? Travel three miles to Old Orchard and enjoy the amusements, pizza and pier fries. Want Shopping? The outlets in Freeport and Kittery are less than an hour away. The cottage is easily accessible to the turnpike and Portland airport. Enjoy time in the Old Port in Portland, just 20 minutes north. Wake up to a sunrise each morning from your front porch, dine by Saco Bay. The cottage has three bedrooms, queen, full bed, and one with twin beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and we did not forget the lobster pot. Games, puzzles and books are available. Computer users have WIFI , YouTube TV and a DVD are provided. The back yard is a great spot to relax or have a barbeque. The outdoor hot/cold shower is very refreshing when coming off the beach. Book today, You won't be disappointed. We have had our girls’ getaway for at least the last 30 years! This was our first time getting a place right on the beach and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Very private area on a dead end street! There was a lovely screened in porch looking directly over a dune to the ocean!
The house was really clean upon arrival which we all appreciated. There are 3 good sized bedrooms so we all had our own space. What I liked most was that we could keep our chairs and umbrellas on the beach overnight so it really felt like a real beach vacation. The weather was great too so even better. We’re hoping to stay here again next year!

Beautiful location and the host was quick to respond when I reached out. I would definitely stay here again. Some issues with the recommended linen service, but they were resolved. Standard linen quality is poor. I would have rather brought my own.
House has everything you need and is close to all the local attractions.

Loved this location! House accommodated us well. Had all the needed basics. Some of the beach chairs were not great for adults. Back yard could use some love. But we enjoyed the front porch at night and loved hearing the waves ❤️. Was great to have the AC’s and all the fans. Can’t get a better location!!

My sewing group of 4 women stayed here in October. The cottage is on a quiet street but a close drive to everything. It was clean, cozy and very inviting. The owner is friendly and helpful. It is a lovely place to stay.

Location, location, location…. The beach area was all we hoped for. And great beach amenities available. Bedroom sizes were good -twin beds could stand updating. Everything in kitchen we needed. Would definitely stay again. Kids loved it!

Exactly what we wanted
We can’t say enough about this cottage; it’s practically on the beach (making sunrise shell walks SO easy), just big enough, and equipped with exactly the things we needed for a perfect vacation. This was a very important trip for my family, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Sue is a terrific owner; quick to respond to questions (she always had the information we needed) and totally respectful of privacy. We rented sheets and towels from Bayside Linens, and that made things much easier…especially with their delivery and pickup service.

Perfect in every way
The cottage exceeded expectations. It was cute, comfortable and very clean. We stayed off season, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The owner was very nice and great to work with.

Perfect beach cottage
The cottage is comfortable, well-equipped, and just the right size for our family. A gorgeous view of Saco Bay and and easy access directly to the beach made this vacation perfect! Thanks, Suzanne, we’re already looking forward to next year!

Peaceful with great ocean view
Cottage pictures are accurate. Living room/kitchen area was actually bigger than it looks in the pictures. We loved the quiet of the neighborhood and the birds singing in the beach grass. Beach is not crowded at all. You can walk it for a couple of miles. Backyard clothesline is very useful for hanging out beach towels, suits, etc. Wonderful owner who had thoughtful things like a rope on the outside door that you could loop over the railing and keep the door open as you brought in groceries, beach chairs, etc. Would love to stay there again.

We had a nice stay, even though the weather was terrible, the house is located right on the beach. The house was VERY clean and cozy with just enough room for my husband, 2 kids and my mother-in law. We will definitely book here again!!!!

Sweet Comfy Cottage
Owner took great care to provide everything one might need including directions on how to run the TV and the gas fireplace. She came to the door to welcome us and said if anything we needed to just call her. The cottage was spotless and very homey feeling. We will certainly consider going again.

Everything was as perfect as the advertisement. We did have the grandkids stop by for a visit ( from 6 30 to 8 30) parking was a problem, as there was no parking on either side of the street. They are young, resourceful adults though, and found a parking area a couple of blocks away.

We loved it! It was perfect for 4 adults and right on the beach. Location was great; only a couple miles to Old Orchard Pier and 20 minutes to Portland. I would definitely recommend it.

Great location
This cottage was just what I needed to recharge. The week was restful,relaxing. The beach was just steps away. Sunrise was worth waking up to see. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. Definitely would return with friends as there is plenty of room. Sue, the property owner is super nice and renting was easy.

Perfect beach side cottage for our family of 5
Sue was most helpful throughout the rental process. The cottage is right off the dunes to the beach, allowing multiple beach walks, whenever we wanted. It’s a nice 3 bedroom cottage with an enclosed front porch where we had our meals and game nights. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay right on the beach!
The cottage is just as described! It's just steps to the beach, and you can sit in any room of the house, hear the waves, and feel the ocean breezes. We had breakfast every morning on the porch, looking out over the ocean, and ditto for dinner.
The beach is wonderful - just a few other folks from the neighboring houses. And, you can walk for miles!
The house is small, but was plenty big for us and our 3 teens. Their rooms (and ours) were great - beds were comfortable, and the rooms were large enough for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped, and also large enough for us to make dinner/breakfast every day. When not on the beach, the teens hung out in the living room, and it also seemed plenty big. Furniture was ample and comfortable.
Sue (host) was great - right next door, and quickly responded to my endless questions.
Overall, a great stay in Maine! The cottage was just what we hoped after being cooped up for so long! Thanks Sue - a great vacation!
