We stayed for Christmas with four adults (including one older family member with limited mobility) and an almost two-year-old. The kitchen had everything we needed to make big multi-course meals -the pots and pans in particular were really nice quality. The playpen and high chair were very helpful. It was pretty accessible for my elderly family member who can still negotiate a few steps, although wouldn’t be wheelchair-friendly. The hot tub was great and we really appreciated the extra towels. We loved walking around the corner to the local coffee shop and just a couple more blocks to everything in Murphys. Overall we had a great time and multiple family members asked us to share the listing for next time!

The location of this home is beyond perfect. The beds are all so cozy and the blankets are cozy and soft. The bathrooms are amazing with good water pressure. The hot tub... BONUS! The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. Really a great place to stay while visiting Murphy's. This was our 2nd stay and we hope for more in the future.

My son had his fall break and I wanted to escape to nature. So with him being 11, we got to hike at big trees, went down into the caverns, and walked up and down the streets of Murphys with our little dog. The location was perfect and couldn’t have asked for a better setup for us. The hot tub was a great perk. Looking forward to going back again with my boyfriend so we can do the adult version (wineries) of this trip.

Location was absolutely wonderful, easy walk to downtown. Reasonably well stocked kitchen (but bring your own knives if you want sharp ones!), great back patio, BBQ worked. All the bedrooms were comfortable, there were lots of towels. We did not use the washer/dryer but there is one there.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful home in Murphys, CA for my girlfriend's birthday weekend, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! First and foremost, the location of the place was superb. Nestled in the heart of Murphys, we were just steps away from fantastic shops and mouthwatering dining options. Exploring the charming streets and browsing through the unique boutiques added an extra touch of excitement to our getaway. One of our favorite highlights was stumbling upon an incredible coffee shop conveniently situated on the corner. It proved to be the perfect spot to start our mornings, with flavorful brews and a cozy atmosphere. It truly set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable day ahead. The house itself exceeded our expectations. It was immaculately maintained and tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen. It felt like a home away from home, providing us with all the comforts we needed for a memorable stay. The host of the VRBO Home was exceptional. They were prompt in their communication, ensuring that all our needs were met and offering helpful local recommendations. Their thoughtfulness truly enhanced our experience and made us feel welcomed.

We have stayed here one other time and loved it. Great location and nice home in great location. Unfortunately, the cabinets were recently stained and were still wet. We have several pairs of shorts and shirts which were stained while we prepared meals. Again, this is a great spot, just unfortunate timing on cabinet staining.
