Situated in Lake Martin, this lovely house for $480 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The View at Lake Martin in Dadeville The View offers the ultimate in family/friends getaways and for football weekends. The view from this three -story home offers spectacular views of Lake Martin from every window. This 2.400 sq. ft. home sits on 2 acres of land with plenty of green space for play along the water, private dock with multiple cleats for mooring and its own private boat ramp. This updated rental is only 4.5 miles from Still waters Golf Course and a short boat ride to Chimney Rock, Harbor Point Marina, The Cove Restaurant, and Chuck's Marina. The ground floor level is comprised of the master bedroom and additional bedroom and a full bathroom. The first bedroom features two twin beds (trundle style) to accompany a queen for family privacy. The second bedroom is a spacious master bedroom with queen bed. It boasts plenty of storage for clothing and suitcases. The flooring is a low Berber for ease and comfort in walking and sound reduction. The ground floor gives way to a spacious outdoor area with full seating and views of the lake under ceiling fans giving direct access to the grill, dock and plentiful green space for family activities like football, Frisbee and horseshoes. The second level is the gathering place in this unique home. It features all wood flooring and a wall of windows across the entire lakefront of the home. Encompassing the living, dining, and kitchen area it features Modern style cabinets, granite countertops, and all stainless steel appliances. The galley style kitchen boasts the view of the lake in all directions. The living area also looks over the lake and features television, reading area and a ½ bath. Directly the living and kitchen area is a second patio with rockers and fans for warmer days. The third level features a spacious two very large bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each done in a clean pop modern style. The floor is done with a low Berber rug throughout for comfort and sound reduction. The master bath has a double walk-in shower with glass front and slate floor and walls. The bathroom is complete with full bath and shower. The property is located on the Blue Creek arm of Lake Martin approximately four miles past Stillwaters Resort off of county road 34. Auburn is only 30 min away. Birmingham and Atlanta just under 2 hours. Visited the area for a weekend of football at Auburn. Quick drive to and from campus was convenient. House is comfortable and clean, and is perfectly situated on quiet part of the lake with fantastic views. The sunrise shouldn’t be missed! Communication with the property manager was extensive prompt and helpful. A very nice stay!

This was the perfect place for our friends and family stay. We had our own watercraft so having the boat launch was perfect. There was plenty of space for everyone and the house was welcoming and comfortable. The property was peaceful. Everyone enjoyed themselves

The location of this property and the view of the lake were outstanding. Having a private boat ramp on property was an added bonus if you have your own water craft. Suzette did an incredible job as our property manager. We look forward to visiting again.

We loved the layout of this house for our large group. The view was breathtaking and proximity of the house to the lake was perfect. The only negative comments we can make are in regards to the mattresses and the air conditioner. The upstairs mattresses are in desperate need of updating and the air conditioner had a very difficult time keeping up during the day.

We got up slow and had breakfast as a family every morning...hopped on the rented pontoon boat...kids jumped off chimney rock then we shooted over to the rope swing and floated! Back for a late lunch ...did some wakeboarding on our jet skis and layed on the lilypad! We'd play ladder ball tournaments while we grilled dinner! Had a ball!

The house has a great view of the lake and is only 20 feet from the water. Watching the sunrise from the porch is amazing. The house and property are well maintained.

The view of the lake is excellent, and the outdoor area is nicely laid out! However, for a property in this price range it was quite dirty even though they charge a cleaning fee and have their guest do a good bit of cleaning before checkout.
Things we experienced:
the toilets, tubs, and sinks had hair and other grime. The cobwebs, and dirt buildup on light fixtures, fans, doors, etc was surprising for a property in this price range. The couch is extremely dirty and smelly with pet dander and hair. We could not use the couch without allergies going completely crazy and had to avoid it after the first night.
The downstairs had a very powerful mildew smell when we arrived. We had to sleep upstairs the first night and air out downstairs all day the next day before people could stay down there.
Check-in instructions were out of date. Spent some time wandering in the dark to find the key and get in. If you show up at night, bring a flashlight!
This is an older house with a lot of hodgepodge updates that were done on the cheap. Not a big deal, but for a house in this price range it was surprising.
Overall functional, with lots of bed options, large dining table, and an excellent lake view, but when it was time to come inside for the evening, it left much to be desired. We will try other options next time we come to Lake Martin.

Our family is scattered from north Alabama to south Georgia so Lake Martin was the perfect in-between place to meet. Four families. Plenty of beds for everyone, neat and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and utensils we needed. Everyone had a good time fishing and just hanging out together.

We enjoyed our stay.. Waking up to the view of the lake was everything.. My only other concern was when we made it to the house we had clean up a little.. But other than that I love it!

Auburn Georgia Weekend 2021
This property is a lot of fun and had all we needed for a really enjoyable weekend. The boat ramp on the property is a time saver!! The boat house is excellent! Location on the lake is excellent. The communication from the property manager was top notch. The grill was brand new with 3 full tanks of propane plus plenty of wood for the fire pit. It was apparent the host was eager to make sure we had an enjoyable visit and did not need anything.
The layout of the house, specifically the bathrooms, is less conducive to larger groups, but, manageable with some patience.
Overall excellent trip to Lake Martin. Definitely a recommended VRBO.
