Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best part of the stay was the location. Here are the bad parts:
- Too dark inside the house and not enough lighting in the upper level rooms
- Garbage disposal dorsn't work and gave out odor throughout the stay
- Carpet upstairs needs to be steamed/shampood or replaced
- Not enough air circulation throughout the house > Need ceiling fans and/or AC, especially at night (we had to sleep with the sliding door open at night)
- 2nd bedroom upstairs smells and pillows need to be replaced (both pillows had major stains)
- Need king pillows for king bed in master bedroom (existing stardard pillows are old and flat)

This is a very comfortable, clean and well kept home, perfect for a family or two. There is not much to do in the immediate neighborhood - the beach by the house is dangerous for little kids to go in the water and there is lots of tar on the sand that sticks and stains. But the Oxnard harbour nearby (a 5 minute drive) is nice for a stroll and a quick bite (we liked Honey Cup). Nearby Ventura (15 minute drive) is lovely, has a number of nice beaches, good downtown shops and eateries, and a lot of beautiful hiking and biking trails for all skill levels. This home was very comfortable and a good base to explore the area.

This was a perfect Covid get away. The house was located close to everything we needed. The yard was secure for our puppy. Short walk down a super cute path to the beach was so nice. The house could use some small upkeep but it was just perfect for a get away.

This house was a perfect rental for a beach getaway! Beach was only a 3 minute walk and you had the option of walking through the street or through a beautiful path in the backyard. It was our first time going to thr beach in Oxnard.. We usually go to Ventura and we were impressed to see that the beach was clean huge and open, not packed at all. Inside of the house was clean and beautiful. Not as big as I had pictured but still beautiful! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking and garage had plenty of toys and items to take with you to use. I would definifely stay here again and would recommend this place to others!

The app was not an effective way to get questions answered, (I couldn't find the key to start the fire and wrote via the app, but did not get a reply. I did eventually find it myself though.)We had a lovely time. The only downside was that there is no AC, and there were no fans either, (as promised on the website. My request via the app for fans also unanswered.) We would have left the windows open for cooler air at night, (it was hot during the day), but the air quality was so bad due to wildfires throughout California that we were advised by health officials to not do that. Other than that glitch, it was a great little house with plenty of room for a family and lots to do. The TV/DVD system worked really well, unlike some other VRBO places we've stayed. We would definitley come back to this house.

Overall the house was perfect for our family. Very spacious and accommodating for our needs. Location. Was great also. Loved our morning walks on the beach. Grew up in the area.and is exactly how I remember!

The folks at Remax left the key in a lockbox and allowed us to come a day early. What a pleasure it was to be able to walk the dogs and even leave them in the yard. Being able to walk out the back to the beach was super easy. The home is equipped with everything you need.

Reviewer Comments: Home was well very maintained and well stocked with just about everything we could ask for: beach toys, boggie boards, bikes, a kite, games for the kids (look in closet under the stairs), air hockey, foosball table, an ice chest and even wire tongs for roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit. Suggest the owners and/or management company supply more toilet paper though. Overall a very nice stay. The grandchildren were happy so grandma and grandpa were happy.

Our only issue was the kitchen wasn't stocked at all. We expected at least salt and pepper. Loved the rear yard for kids and our dog.
