About this condo rental
Situated in Orange Beach, this attractive condo for $400 per night is a great option for your next vacation. New to our rental portfolio, is this Phoenix West II The Oasis Unit 2708 on the 27th floor. The unit is a beautiful professionally decorated three bedroom, four bath resort property. This spacious 2000 sq ft. has floor to ceiling windows and spectacular views and an extra large deck to relax and enjoy those views. The gourmet kitchen will be a plus for mom and it includes a wet bar with under counter ice machine and bar top seating. Large laundry room with washer and dryer are included with this condo. The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom has two queens, and the third bedroom has two queen beds. There is one sofa sleeper in the living and one roll away bed (good for a child), which in all sleeps 13. There is key less entry door lock so you and your family do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay! 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 2 queen beds, 1 sleeper sofa and 1 roll away bed (good for a child). 4 full bathrooms The den features a 70'' TV -The condo's master bedroom has a king bed and a 55" tv. The master bedroom has it's on-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and shower. The 2nd bedroom has two queen beds and a 50" tv and on-suite full bath. The 3rd bedroom has 2 queen sized beds with a 44" tv and on-suite full bath. This unit has a key-less entry door lock so you do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay! You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival at property front desk and the price is a one time fee of at least $45 per vehicle. Any 3 br unit you rent at Phoenix West II guarantees you can purchase up to two parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay. The property amenities include a lazy river, water slide, outdoor pool, indoor heated pool, a large well equipped exercise room with additional hot tubs and separate men and woman's saunas. There are also outdoor basketball courts and Bar-B-Q Grills as well as massive amounts of indoor common area. You have covered parking in the garage. No refunds for rentals under 25 years and this policy will be strictly enforced. The person responsible for the rental has to be 25 or older and staying in unit. Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival. You are allowed two with this property. Passes are around $60 each. Parking is limited. This information is deemed reliable but not guaranteed, please check with the building HOA desk to confirm price of parking. * Due to the Covid-19 crisis, all comforters have been removed from beds. We have replaced with a quilt that is washed with each stay. If you prefer heavier bedding, you may want to bring extra bedding. We want to do our best to offer a sanitized clean bed for your stay

The problem with this unit is poor management. Rather than addressing and attempting to fix broken and damaged items in the condo, the property manager chose to blame the guest on misuse. Maintenance was sent to the unit but stated they would be unable to address any of the following problems: broken ice maker, broken couch bed, poorly installed light fixtures, and overall uncleanliness of the unit. The property manager was rude and defensive any time an issue was brought up. Following our stay, we went back to see what other guests said. It appears that the same problems have persisted over the course of the entire summer and that management has been unwilling to actually put in the money to fix them. Lesson learned, read reviews prior to booking.

We had a great stay! The view was amazing, the rooms were spacious and we loved having bathrooms in each room. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

Property was pretty true to description! We were able to see dolphins, shark, and sting rays from the balcony and enjoyed the lazy river! Would definitely use this property again! Only down fall was the long waits and crowded rides of the elevators!

This was the cheapest room that slept the most. It is what it is. It has been beaten up because it sleeps so many.
1. Ice machine did not work the entire time we were there. Had a roach in it when we got there on the first day. Called the management company and they sent someone out. The never called us back to let us know if it was fixed. It wasn't and then startled leaking water all over the floor to the point we had to start putting towels down. They sent the repair company back out and said that some water line had broken and it would be a week before the part came in. We spent over $100 on ice while we were there. The management company said the ice machine is not guaranteed to work?????
2. Stove shot out fire on several occasions.
3. One of the pull out bed frames was broken and no way anyone was sleeping on it.
4. Only way to sleep on the pull-out couch was to take the mattress from the other pull-out couch and put it on top of the other one.
5. We have been staying at Phoniex West II for years and this was the hardest sliding door to open that we have experienced.
6. Kitchen was not very well stocked.
7. Fridge door would not close unless forced to close.
Again, it was the cheapest place when we booked so you get what you pay for but the management could have done a much better job of communicating with us what was going on with the ice machine. I asked if we would be reimbursed for all the money we were spending on ice and he said not usually.

Property was as described. Nice place with some wear and tear on furnishings which is expected with a vacation rental. Easy check in and out. Close to restaurants….. enjoyed Christmas activities in the community with kids. Perfect relaxation spot!

The bathtub in the master bedroom was not cleaned good. I started to use it but it felt dirty when I was rinsing it out and there was hair on the vent, otherwise everything was good. I did have to report some minor maintenance issues, which were taken care of promptly.

Everything was great! 4 Beds, sofas and chairs in the living room were comfortable! We could have used a an extra thin blanket for each bed.
The pots and pans in the kitchen were nasty and very sticky. I didn’t want to touch them. One pan was scratched and rusty. We needed 2 stove mits and extra dish towels and dish cloth.

Upon arrival, we immediately started noticing issues. First, we had 15 people in our group, so to help with luggage we had rented a uhaul trailer. Our intentions were to unload it quickly and remove it from premises. The security guard was very rude because it took us a little time to unload since we couldn’t find carts or find an empty elevator to get on! The next issue was parking. Not only did we have to pay for parking passes for the premises (which aren’t included in the overpriced condo rental) we were only allowed 2. The lady at the front desk said they had other spots available but wouldn’t sell them. She took our phone number & the next morning we received a call saying parking was available after they made us travel 5 miles to park at an overflow parking lot.
Once in our condo, our ice machine at the bar area didn’t work. The refrigerator kept things cool, but not cold. (We followed the protocol about keeping things cold in the refrigerator that was listed). The toilets would continue running after being flushed causing us to have to continue shaking the handle to get them to stop. Light fixtures were broken and hanging from ceilings. Pullout beds in couching were very uncomfortable and very loud when trying to sleep. Pullout cot was unusable even for 11yo.

Good experience just needs some updates.
This is not a complaint about my experience or the property because overall it was a good experience for our family. I say these things to make the owner aware of current things that need to be addressed. I would only say that the room we stayed in needed some updates and small repairs. The light fixtures in some areas were not attached firmly to the ceiling and wiring was showing. The toilets needed to be fixed in every bathroom. I literally had to hold the handle down for it to flush and the other baths had similar issues. I did have a problem with the parking due to the fact that we had 15 people and were only allowed 3 passes. Which meant we had to park one of our vehicles approximately 15 mins away from the property which was an inconvenience.
Having said all of this I would stay there again because the overall experience was good and the property has many amenities available to use. See you in the future!

Poor Customer Service
Overall, this condo was nice; however, when I pay a premium price, I expect perfection and this fell short. The refrigerator door shelves were broken, the stand alone ice maker did not work, the pendant lights in the kitchen had been pulled loose from the ceiling, an air vent in the living room leaked, the batteries in light under the kitchen cabinets were dead, there was no trash can in one of the bathrooms, one of the toilets leaked and was very hard to flush, the bar stools were unstable. I emailed these problems with pictures to the management company and got a one sentence response that the issues would be addressed. That was on a Monday and I did not hear from them the rest of the week (we left the following Sunday). I hope the owner of this condo reads the reviews and addresses them with the management company. They should not charge this rate if they can't or won't make certain that the condo is first rate. Going forward, I will not rent a condo that is run by this company.

We had a great stay. Unit was very nice and plenty of room. Check in/check out was super easy. We did check in late and following day was Thanksgiving, so I couldn't get anyone to give us code to workout room. May want to ask in advance.

4. Sheet and comforter was in one fold out couch that had been used by previous tenants and not laundered.
5. Single cot springs do not allow this item to be utilized.
6. Only one wine glass exists, rest are champagne and martini.
7. Dryer takes approximately 3-4 full cycles before it completes a small white load of towels on high heat.
8. Smallest bedroom shower “liner” is not clean and has rust at the top. Upon opening the liner by me a metal shower curtain liner hook fell and due to rust broke in half.
9. Bar stools are barely sturdy for an adult to safely sit on, tilt and rock side to side.
10. WiFi did not allow anyone in our family including Apple and android devices to communicate.
11. Blood appearance on pink and blue comforter from second queen bedroom closet.
We take our annual adult cousins family vacation very serious as it’s the only time of year we all get to visit. We do not shop lightly and chose this resort due to amenities provided (lazy river etc). Please take our concerns seriously and correct so future families do not have to experience the same as our family.

Family Vacay
Layout was great for our family of 13. Cooked all meals in the condo to avoid restaurants. Red chair beach service(AL Beach) was MUCH better than Ike’s (blue).
There IS a coffeemaker (chat feature here told us there was not). Dryer doesn’t dry well. Some electrical outlets in master bedroom/bath do not work.
Even so, we will be back!
