Located in Buenos Aires, this lovely condo for $80 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. It is not for nothing that Buenos Aires is known as the Paris of South America. Our apartment in this classic French style building, built circa 1935 is perfect for 2 - 4 discerning travelers looking for a unique and stylish property. The apartment is over 70 square meters (over 600 square feet) and have an entry hall, full kitchen, modern bathroom, 2 bedrooms and business center, lots of light and open living room. The apartments are tastefully decorated in modern contemporary style: Italian designed leather sofas, king and queen sized top of the line beds, TV, DVD player and sound system, business center with internet hook-up and USA phone, fully equipped kitchen, vacuum, iron and board. The apartment will sleep four adults in king and queen beds. In addition, there is a couch which is suitable for a child or adolescent. Just to clarify, there are two identicaI apartments that I manage. This is an incredible bargain on a two bedroom apartment in the heart of Buenos Aires. It has a smart TV, so all of the modern streaming entertainment is available. The elevator is fun, you have to open and close the doors by hand. There is a demand water heater that will cycle on and off during your shower, unless you turn on a little hot water at the sink. Then the shower will remain at a comfortable temperature. Original hardwood floors are nice. Highly recommended. Beautiful, historic building. Great host. Very accomodating.

What an amazing building with a lot of history. Our stay was perfect for what we needed. I enjoy old buildings and architecture. Imagining what life was like when this building was new, and all that it has been through intrigues me. Matthew was constantly available via What’s App and gave us tips along our journey. Unfortunately, it rained for most of our time in Buenos Aires. Walkable to market and restaurants just steps away make this a convenient location. Uber came in handy due to the rain.

The location is great!!! The bulding is beautifull and the elevator super cool is like travel in time 50 yearss ago.
Close by there many restaurants, cafes supermarkets, hospitals... everything is walking distance.
The downs are the person that deliver the key had me waiting in the street for 1hr 15 minutes and didnt pick up the phone. Although the owner responded but still took more than an hr to get the keys. The only ac is in the family But drips water. The Apt is nice but need a update it shows a significant wear and tear.
On the bath room was a used soap from previous rental. The cleaning needs to improve.
If they improve the service, cleaning and update of the facilities the apt is a gem!!!

This classically appointed apartment with high ceilings, wood floors, and stained glass details in a wonderfully central and secure location provided a perfect base for our explorations of Buenos Aires. The place was immaculate, had reliable wifi, and was a quiet spot in the middle of the city. Host Matthew responded promptly to our communications and shared thoughtful recommendations for things to enjoy. Helen was friendly, engaging, and helpful throughout our stay. When we return to Buenos Aires, we will definitely hope to stay in this apartment again!

Location, location, location- This apartment is perfectly situated in the beautiful Recoleta - so gorgeous! The building is also beautiful, too. The room is accurately portrayed in the photos so no surprises! We loved having access to a washer/dryer, too.
But the best part about this stay is that the check in was so
easy - there was no waiting around on the street, they were there right away to let us in. Also, the hosts were very responsive during our stay w any questions. We would definitely come back.

Matthew and Pablo, the apartment manager, were very helpful hosts, taking the time to explain how various appliances in the apartment worked and giving us recommendations to get the most out of our BA experience. The apartment is spacious, perfect for two couples, and charming with comfortable beds. We really appreciated having a washer in the unit as we stayed for nearly two weeks. We also liked the proximity to many top attractions - and found that we walked almost everywhere, which became yet another way to explore this beautiful city. We definitely plan to come back to Argentina - and BA - and would consider this spot to call "home".

Matthew is a great host and responds quickly to communications. His colleague Pablo checked us in and was very helpful with recommendations. The apartment is very charming and is in a 100 year old building. The building is well maintained and everything works well. We had a full kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms with king size beds and a nice sitting area.
The apartment is a short walk to the recoleta cemetery, urban shopping mall and museums. We walked all through the area and really enjoyed the stay.
I highly recommend Matthew and his accommodations. Great apartment at a great price in the heart of Recoleta.

We stayed three nights and walked or used Uber to get around town. Recoleta Cemetery and the parks were quite close and wonderful places to visit. We also did the Yellow Bus (hop-on hop-off) tour which provided a nice introduction to the city (we especially liked Caminito in La Boca).

Lovely apartment with old world charm perfect for our low-key group of three. Manager was super helpful in finding us a place to store our bags while we waited for our evening flight. And the air conditioning kept us cool enough to sleep despite the 95 degree heat wave!

Our flight to Bs. As. was delayed and our host Pablo was waiting for us at 01.00 h in the morning.
He explained the neighborhood, where to go to find stores, restaurants, attractions.

The building is located 2 blocks from subway, McDonald’s Starbucks. several l excellent Argentinian restaurants, cafes, Gluten-free pastry shop, supermarket. Beauty salons, and etc. outstanding neighborhood.
Pro: it’s a secure apartment, (it’s a 10) - has 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and pillows - It has a good flow of hot / cold water in the shower.
Con; it doesn’t have a microwave, it needs a good coat of paint. The curtains need to be washed or changed. Some mold growth in the bathroom that must be taken care of ASP.
It’s a charming place and the manager and the owner worked beyond my expectations to help guests resolve issues with the apartment quickly.
We stayed 9 days in March 2023.

Apartment is in a beautiful older building, with an old elevator that worked perfectly! Pablo met us as scheduled and gave us good information about the building, as well as the surrounding area. The apartment was clean, with comfortable beds and was stocked with everything we needed for our 4-night stay. Safe location, walking distance to Recoleta Cemetery and other sights.

A lovely apartment and as they say :location, location, location! Very walkable area, 3 grocery stores within a block, and 4 blocks to Recoleta cemetery. Clean, roomy, fully appointed kitchen and washing machine and elevator!

It would be good for future guests to add a cutting board to the available utencils but everything else was provided. There was WIFI and plenty of hot water in the shower. We had access to a clothes washer too! This is a really great place to stay in Buenos Aires and the hosts made the entire experience memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this listing! The AC was really appreciated during a record heat wave! During cooler evenings opening the windows and cheering along with neighbours as Argentina played in the World Cup was an experience we will never forget!! We highly recommend this property for walkability neighbourhood charm and safer streets.

Matthew and Pablo are the best hosts! They picked up Bjork concert tickets for us and clued us in on a few spots of interest. The spacious home is located in the middle of Rocoleta and convenient to lots of walking distance attractions.

Misleading pics, little privacy & not great for babies
The Parisian touches of this apartment are quite charming, but it's a difficult layout if you are hoping for any privacy between rooms-- all light and sound carries to the bedrooms and living room, because the doors are glass and both bedrooms open onto the living room. Noise and light from the rest of the building also came into our space. This made it hard to create a quiet space for our daughter to sleep, or to feel a sense of privacy, as the kitchen window (with bathroom in view) looks directly into the apartment across the way.
We also found the pictures misleading, as they are of 2 separate apartments. When I wrote to ask if they were all the same apartment, it was clarified that they are 2, and that we would have the one of the 3rd floor, with the first images. We were instead put on the 4th floor, and I wouldn't have selected this apartment if I knew that were the case.
Communication with both Matthew (the owner) and Pablo (the manager) was excellent, which is why we chose this apartment over others. They were even willing to accommodate our late checkout. But it doesn't make up for our experience in the apartment, or the fact that I felt misled about what we would selecting. In fact I think the reason there are so many positive reviews for this apt has to do with Matthew's coercion to insure a good review, rather than the apartment itself.
