You get a private room with a million-dollar bay view for the price of a mid-range hostel. Beds were super comfy and the aircon was ice cold.

We booked this hotel last minute without expecting much, but it completely blew us away. After checking in, the receptionist sat down with us, drew a mini-map, and pointed out where the locals actually eat seafood away from tourist traps. That evening, we grabbed beers from a nearby shop and spent two hours on the rooftop watching the town lights reflect over the bay.

It’s a super cheap hotel so there isn’t much to expect, we stayed for one night which suited us fine
All was ok for us, there were building works going on (from 7am) in the hotel which no one told us about and there’s a massive complex being built in front, which is sad for all of the places that were there originally
