Overall, we had a good experience. The neighborhood and amenities are very nice. The view from the second-story balcony for Independence Day fireworks is spectacular. The house is comfortable for six to seven adults. Communication was stellar until check-in time. Bill and Vanessa were very good via email and text before our arrival. Bill called us at around 1 pm to welcome us and tell us that "the house is ready". Check-in was at 3 pm. We arrived at 3:20 pm and found the cleaning crew was still there. We had to wait outside until 3:45 pm in 96-degree heat until they were done. Vanessa texted, "We will get you a gift card to the beach club grill for the inconvenience". The next morning, I texted Vanessa asking for an extra parking pass. I never heard back from her or Bill. No gift card. No parking pass. A few minor concerns with the property: nasty stains on the carpeting near the entry, GFCI outlets needing to be reset more than once, only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and a nest of red wasps living under the second-story balcony. Yes, these are minor complaints in a world rife with many bigger issues. However, we were disappointed enough to share these concerns. We would certainly return to this area and neighborhood, but not this property.

We had a pretty nice stay. However, there were a few things that I didn't really love. One of the bedrooms is right off the kitchen. I mean sharing a wall. You can hear every drawer close and every whisper made in the kitchen. I've stayed at a lot of VRBO's. A common theme is usually some condiments, spices, etc left over for the next guest. There was nothing in the kitchen. No spices, not even aluminum foil or plastic wrap. There also was no Tupperware. If you're going to stay here, you need to bring everything you need, and I mean everything. The view was pretty nice and it was about a 6 minute drive to the pool. The pool rules were a little crazy though. If you brought even a water bottle full of water, you had to dump it out and refill it inside. You could not bring anything in there, because they want you to buy their stuff. The grocery store is about a 30 min drive, so if you need something, expect an hour round trip.
