Absolutely recommended!

Very quaint caribbean resort. It’s quiet and perfect to spend a relaxing time in Nassau but still enjoy all its perks. Aquatic sports are available on demand. The location is fantastic considering it’s access to a beautiful beach. Having Sandyport “Plaza” with different restaurants and cafes is an incomparable advantage that make Sandyport beach resort so unique

The experience in the hotel’s restaurant in leaves room for improvement. Also, the cleaning personnel could do a slightly better job too.

Nice beach and staff, outdated and dirty facilities

Beach was close,

the facilities are outdated. The room we stayed in had missing hardware all over the place. Really needs work.

Fantastisk resort - terningkast 6/6.

Fantastisk resort med en flott beliggenhet. Hyggelig personalet og god service under hele oppholdet. Tilbaketrukket resort med privat strand, basseng og beach-bar, som gjør at oppholdet her er mye mer komfortabelt en andre hotel jeg har vært på tidigere. Resorten har også vunnet flere priser fra tidligere. Anbefales på det sterkeste om du ønsker en rolig og avslappende ferie.

Vanskelig å mislike noe så flott som denne resorten.

Amazing workcation destination!

My room was well appointed (on the smaller side) but for a solo traveller this was adequate and had everything that was needed. The bathroom was also small but sufficient. The kitchenette was well equipped and it was appreciated. A larger work desk would have been nice but I don't think many people come here to work. I was able to take my laptop to Blue Sail but was chased off on the 2nd day. The resort itself is beautifully laid out and well kept. The location is magical and I felt my family would have enjoyed it more (but we will be back). The staff were well trained, very friendly and professional. I thought very highly of them, many of them greet you as you pass by (felt really welcomed). Overall a beautiful resort, just looks a bit tired with age but the crew looks like they are staying on top of it. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Best Stay Ever!

Location of Sandyport was perfect it’s a beautiful picturesque pastel town so safe and lots of food options. So close to airport. Lagoon to swim in, beach super close and a pool with slides. Staff were attentive and friendly. So gorgeous and room was right on the beach. Air con, coffee machine, fridge and microwave.

Not recommended

The hotel is ok with a couple of places to eat and drink near by. The hotel beach is nice and within walking distance

The location is not ideal, far from all possible activities. You will require a taxi for everything which as everything else, is very expensive. The hotel needs better maintenance, both the rooms and facilities. We tried to have a drink by pool bar and in spite having very few people to attend, it took for ever. The front desk does not inform FREE things to do (cave, best beaches, etc..), only very enthusiast explaining all the paid activities. The hotel staff seemed to be always in a bad mood, then we found that the whole island had that same mood.

Very good

The room , beach and resort were superb. Our stay would have been enhanced if the ‘breakfast room’ also did evening meals , even if only every other night.

There could have been more beach umbrellas and new chairs on the beach.

Great facilities and pretty resort

The set up is great. You have restaurants, the beach, pool and shops all close by. It's a lovely resort with basketball courts, snorkelling gear and tennis courts. There's a book exchange and you get beach towels. The beach is on the doorstep and is gorgeous. For the price it is great value

A lot of the facilities didn't quite work. Our stove was dodgy, the power went, the TV signal was bad and the toiletries were scarce. However to be fair the maintenance team were always with us in minutes and were very helpful and house keeping gave us more toiletries bo problem

The stay was very relaxing and enjoyable for us on our honeymoon.

We loved the features of the resort such as the beach and pool. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The Conch Shack was a great place to get drinks and the guy running it was nice. The location has many businesses nearby such as grocery stores and banks.

The distance from downtown is quite far and costs a lot for a taxi. We went for our honeymoon and let the staff know beforehand but nothing special was done. Restaurant prices around the resort are quite high.

Absolutely beautiful place to relax and enjoy!

The room was exactly like in the pictures. Absolutely beautiful and well kept Resort. Nice and friendly staff everywhere. Spacey and clean room and bath, nicely furnished. We had a groundfloor room with balcony and exit to the sand and inward water. Great place to relax, nice pool, nice private beach.

Don't miss visiting the Clifton Heritage Park and be sure to do both the snorkeling & heritage tour!

We loved the location - more out of town, yet close to plenty of restaurants. Taxi's were plentiful and we took trips all over the island.

The plumbing needs to be updated as both the bidet (which didn't work) and the toilet leaked but there were plenty of towels to sop it up. Really, this is a great place for a wonderful vacation!

the staff, the beach, the blue sail bar and the pools. very accommodating and helpful staff.

not enough food options in resort but enough around the property. Noise in the room from adjacent rooms and lack of facilities around the pool. Stairs for rooms upstairs.

A beautiful, restful stay. Lovely staff.

Beautiful design within a gated community. Well kept property. Large, clean rooms with good sized balcony. Very peaceful.

There isn’t much to do in the surrounding area. Limited food options. A few local restaurants to choose from, but they work out very pricey.

All the staff was very nice and the daily housekeeping was a nice touch. Rooms were as expected although the beds were not very comfortable. Great value for our cost!

Sea fleas! I have more than 50 painful bites all over my body. The surrounding area, outside of the immediate resort area, felt unsafe and there really wasn't much to do. The food (restaurant and grocery) options on the island as a whole were a lot more expensive than I had planned for, even more so than Hawaii which is where we usually go.
