If you’re after an apartment central to the town restaurants and beach don’t hesitate to book. Within feet of the beach, sunbeds supplied to guests for beach use and on the shared terrace eg two further apartments. Very comfortable sunbeds not cheap plastic. Great restaurant/ bar below showing all live sport, especially football. Okay it’s not 5 star but how long are you in the room. Had a problem with the shower and toilet ie no water, which was immediately fixed and shouldn’t happen again, as the owner Ken reacted by having a new water tank installed to work alongside the one in place therefore doubling the output. Brilliant🤗 To put things into perspective the previous year (same time) we rented a large beachside penthouse in Santa Maria which was triple the price of the SBC. Both my wife and I who are well travelled preferred the SBC on all levels. We will be definitely returning next April. Well done Ken and your remarkable staff. So relaxing.pS Air con free, quiet and brilliant.
Tv didn’t work but hey who wants a television when you have everything on your doorstep!

Good central location and right on the beach, not far from the pier. Great views of the beach from the spacious room and the large, well equipped balcony. Owner Ken has a great team there and all of the staff are so lovely and friendly. They make you feel like part of the family. I ended up having all of my meals there and particularly enjoyed the seafood spaghetti, washed down with enormous glasses of my favourite, chilled Chã, white wine. A variety of TV's cover all sports but the atmosphere and craic is superb when the football is on. This was my 3rd visit to Sal Beach Club and I'm looking forward to the next one.

We booked the executive suite which is located on the other side of the road then the club itself. That was no issue at all. Matrasses were not quite good, you could feel the coli springs a little too much. Overall, great location, really close to the beach, fine personnel. We stayed only one night.
The matrasses in the executive room were not quite good. But we were very tired so it did not bother us, we stayed only one night. A longer stay would have caused some irritation about it, we guess.

Location was great in the heart of the city and few steps away from the beach and this was only positive side of this place.
First of all You don't get beachfront apartment but the one on the street back (still with some beach view). Despite of being cleaned Apartment was quite worn and needs urgent renovation. There were no any kitchen appliances (no plates, pot or frying pan) only cutlery. We have to ask even for the plates because there were no one in the apartment. Mattresses on bunk beds was horribly uncomfortable with springs almost on the surface (most probably top soft cover was missing), There was no any blankets or duvets. We had to ask for additional items few times but finally they supplied minimum what we need. Windows on the balcony was not possible to lock so anybody if reached 1st flor balcony could enter the apartment. In the main bedroom there was window to backyard with some workshop where machinery working noisly all night so if You soft sleeper better to avoid this apartment.

noisy at all hours i.e.hearing 4:30 am drunken discussions on state of life,or other inter-personal discussions going on in the street ; no cooking appliances which is understandable over a restaurant. Bathroom flooding everywhere with shower or alternatively-no water at midnight (not their fault-island problems). Bedding not up-to-par.

Having been before I knew it was excellent with location right on the beach. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and Ken is a superb host. Centrally located close to shops restaurants etc and very close to the pier. With various screens, Sal Beach Club is superb for sports, with coverage of everything that you could want. Only covid has prevented me from returning before now.
Didn't like having to leave.

Nights are quiet so we could have a nice sleep.
The room was comfy, Everything was clean. Hot water, good wifi. ok
Super close to the beach and city center.
One of the beds moved a bit, but we were only 2 so we took the other.
Many mosquitoes at night so bring some
repelent if you wanna sleep well (this counts for all the island, not specifically here).
There were cups but no dishes. We managed anyways :)

The location is amazing. The beach is just in front of you. The street with all the bars, restaurants and shops is just a one minute walk away, just like the famous pier of Sal. The room is very spacious with everything you need. The patio with table/chairs/sunbeds and it's amazing beach/sea view is the cherry on top of the cake. For sure I would stay here again.

Location, friendly and helpful staff on hand. Utility problems were responded to quickly.
No nets to prevent insects. We were badly bitten by insects but don't know what insect, not mosquitos as the very itchy bite wound was not recognised as mosquito bites. We suspected bed bugs but couldn't find evidence of any present.
A bit disappointed that some evening meals we wanted were unavailable. Room allocated was not as expected.
Very poor lighting, no bedside lamps so we could not read in bed at night.

Best place to stay on the island

The 2 big plusses were the accommodation and the staff. The accommodation was 3 rooms for bedroom, bathroom and my own lounge which overlooked the beach and sea. And lovely staff who did everything to make my stay enjoyable.

You will not find better location and quality for this price. The rooms have a balcony over the blue ocean and it's very comfortable and clean. The wifi is fast and you have a beach bar and restaurant downstairs which is very good, with screens to watch sports. They also offer surf classes and other activities. Great choice.

The location is excellent. It is not only close to the beach, but to all the other stores, the pharmacy, and the main street with shops and cafes. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, no matter what we needed (or when). They made the place feel welcoming and safe. The room was cleaned and restocked properly whenever we asked.
While not perfect, it is a great place to stay while exploring Santa Maria.
While the room was kept clean, you can see it needs some fixing up. There are holes in the walls, the bed and pillows were pretty bad to sleep on, and the A/C is extremely loud and noisy when you turn it on. The front door also sometimes won't lock properly and you need to spend some time on it.
Everything above can probably be fixed with minimal effort and capital, so I suggest to the owners that they do it, since it would drastically improve the whole experience.

Location, location, location! Totally Loved the location as the beach was opposite. Having that sea view was gorgeous and also it's in the town, so lots of lively activity, entertainment and restaurants to choose from! I'd stay here just for the location. There was a lovely young lady - think she was the supervisor (shame I can't remember her name) but she was really welcoming. All the staff at their restaurant were really nice too, the food was great and they had big screens and showed English football.
Best to book through booking.com as you get a cheaper rate. The manager tried to charge an extra £40 as he said people who walk in off the street (meaning not pre booked) pay more. Luckily, I was getting Wifi so was able to make a booking at the cheaper price. Beware - Sal Island is VERY expensive and once they know you're a tourist, prices are inflated.

Location and size of apartment was perfect. Balcony was really nice too. Room was clean. Totally worth the price. Staff were there when you needed them. Claudio was extremely helpful and professional 😊 restaurant was also good!
Wifi wasn't too good but they provided solution when we asked about it.

Fantastic location, beach right in front of you and many restaurants near by. Big outside space with sun beds overlooking the sea. Good size beds and pillows. Hot water when taking a shower which is hard to get in many places in Sal at least if you are two persons showering after each other.
The kitchen wasn’t fully equipped, there was cops, plates fork and knife so you’d be able to eat something you bought but no pots or something like that to be able to cook. Perfect for 2 persons staying or a family with kids but it’s good too know there is only a drape to close between the rooms no door and the bathroom is located in the back of the apartment and you need to step into the “second room” to get access to it. bathroom is the most dated in the apartment fully funcional But the bathroom door doesn’t close and you see straight into the bathroom from both beds.

Loved the location, and the views from the room, open the door and straight amazing view of the sea. Waking up to it has no price.
The staff was nice and helpful, there's option to rent SUP boards, surf boards, etc right below. There's the entrance to the rooms on the side, you don't need to pass by the restaurant if you don't want to.
It's close to the main street, the pier, everything, really really good.
Bit noisy as there's the restaurant/bar below, but nothing really that bothered me hugely. I always sleep with earplugs anyway, so I was ok with it. It might be annoying for other people, though.
The individual extra bed in the living room is extremely uncomfortable (needs a new matress), but I was travelling alone so I used the big one, so it's ok for me.

Ken and the team are very nice and open hearted and had time for anything I asked for. I had a good time staying there.
The internet is quite fast so remote work was possible as well. Can recommend this place. Felt welcome and good vibes the entire stay.
