About this condo rental
Overlooking downtown Banner Elk & in between Sugar & Beech ski slopes. Cabin furnishings with new kitchen and bathroom. Great location, 5 minute walk to downtown with its many shops and great restaurants. Private backporch is up in the trees. It's approx 10 minutes to ski at Sugar and Beech Mountain. Five minute walk to Lees-McRae College. Dogs & cats allowed, maximum limit of 2, under 40lbs. Must be clean, nails trimmed, no fleas, well behaved & not bark excessively. $25.00 per pet per day fee.

This town and community is the cutest thing ever. We came up here to ski Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain and thought we would stay in between the two mountains in Banner Elk. This little cabin was perfectly situated and walking distance to great restaurants (recommend Stone Wall) and just 15 minutes to each mountain. It was the perfect little rental for two couples. We had Bearside #2 and we could hear the footsteps of Bearside 3 as I'm sure Bearside #1 could hear ours but it wasn't distracting. For the location and price these cabins are awesome.

Cons:
Loud floors! We were squeaking, the people above us and their dog were squeaking all night, it was a squeaky wooden orchestra.
The shower has terribly low water pressure and the temperature was up and down as you shower.
Nowhere to hang towels. An over the door hook rack would fix easily.
The fridge was very loud.
We would've been likely to stay again had we gotten any sleep, but we were exhausted the whole trip. But the people above us had a dog that paced all night so that skews our perspective some. The shower was not a good experience either though.

WOW....what a wonderful, peaceful stay. The unit was great. The view, the weather, the location were wonderful.
If I had to point out anything negative it was that the front porch light was out. (It was supposed to stay on at all times.) Other then that minor thing, we will definitely be returning!!! What a great place!!!!

We came to ski Beech & Sugar but unfortunately the storm closed both mountains. The cabin was cozy and conveniently located to all activities in Banner Elk, Sugar, and Beech. Recommend 4WD for inclement weather. We’d def I felt stay here again!!

Bearadise 2 was just as described. Very clean, comfortable, and great location with a short walk to town. Wood burning fireplace was an added bonus as well. Andrew was excellent to communicate with.

We had a fantastic Labor Day weekend at Bearadise 2. Everything was as described; location was very convenient; check-in and communication were seamless. Would absolutely stay here again!

Rustic, woodsy, needing new futon furniture in living room & more lighting in all rooms. Outdoor back patio needs updating & kitchen needs more basic essentials such as baking pans, glasses, forks, knives & spoons. There were no spare sheets for both beds & nothing for futons if you had guests. Towels were minimal also. Landlord was very pleasant & helpful.

My daughter was in a show at Lee's McRae 9to5 and such a great location and beautiful view with snow flurries didn't really appreciate the coldness, but enjoyed our home abundantly.Thankz for your kindness!!!

The attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed. Hands down the most comfortable solid futon in the LR ever. If you’re a light sleeper, bring a noise machine since you do share walls/floors next door. Look forward to coming back in the summer!

Convenient to town but you must go down a winding road. Location is very private and isolated at the top of the hill even if close to town. Great comm by owner who is easy to work with and the condo is as cozy as the pictures. Fire pit outside is a great feature! Will rent again!
